Mini has a little bit of a difficult time when it first announced it was taking the Countryman, its new crossover, into the wild world of the World Rally Championship. Now that it's been unveiled at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, we are sure that it'll have no problem keeping up with the competition. Unfortunately for us, Mini is still keeping drivetrain details a guarded secret - for now.
The thing is that Paris isn't the first time that we've seen the Mini Countryman. Months before the big European show, there have been videos circulating showing a Countryman WRC prototype running through the hills of Portugal. Judging from those images, it's easy to see that the Countryman will be able to handle just about anything.
