SEMA 2010: 2010 RMR Signature Equus

Did you really think Hyundai would come to SEMA with only one iteration of the Equus? Not a chance. The South Korean automaker has been rolling the dice and winning every hand these days with their seemingly continuous flow of eye catching and quality products. Along with the Mummbles Equus, Hyundai is also showcasing the RMR Signature Edition. Tweaked by Rhys Millen Racing, it's been enhanced by a unique interior and exterior, and some upgraded power.

The exterior features a two-tone paint scheme comprising of carbon fiber and Red Bull Racing blue satin, carbon mirrors, a front chin, rear spoilers, and HRE 21-inch P40 alloy wheels. Inside the car and you'll find special RMR Signature Edition embroidered headrests and floor mats, along with ostrich hide leather seats with suede accents. Under the hood, the RMR Equus has an additional air intake and a stainless steel exhaust module that, when combined, charges the stock Tau V8 with an additional 30 hp, for a total output of 415 hp.

There's no doubt Hyundai wants the Equus to be taken seriously as a top-of-the-line luxury flagship. Judging by what they brought to SEMA this year, few will laugh at the new Hyundai parked in their neighbor's driveway.
