MTM Reveals Audi A1 in Time For Christmas

German tuning specialist MTM has revealed photos of their latest work, a retuned Audi A1. Their tuning program involves not only upgrading the stock A1's power, but also adding new alloy wheels, high-performance brakes, and various improvements to the underbody. The exterior paint job is reminiscent of the MTM Audi RS6 Clubsport and features 18-inch Bimoto alloys wrapped in Conti Sport Contact 2 performance tires.

Add to that a lowered suspension and a new set of spacers per wheel for an improved appearance, and this could be the most dangerous thing the MINI Cooper has seen yet. MTM has also promised that a series of modifications will take place under the hood, such as an optimized reprogramming of the control electronics and a complete conversion of the engine unit. No other details were released, but expect for MTM to reveal more sometime in early 2011.
