Blocks beat finish in WRC is 9th and considering he's been racing for like 5 years and its his first year at what's the basically F1 of rally...he really ain't doin to bad..........

Yeah the dude has balls and isn't scared of anything. Mix that with his talent and he could do some awesome things aside from gymkhana. I'm still waiting for Ricky Bobby to move to rally stuff :)
Andy you are right (and i think you spelled it well), but i think he hass the skills to grow.
I also don't see Kimi Raikonen (most likely spelt that wrong) doing very well in WRC either. I doubt Ken Block will get very far in WRC, but again, at least he's over there representing the US
It's a whole new learning curve for him. For example, I don't see Juan Pablo Montoya dominating NASCAR after his F1 career, 2 completely different styles of racing in completely different cars
Ken Block is not used to WRC type rallying. He's used to the stunt type stuff. Put it this way, at least he's over there. How many other American drivers are competing in Euro stuff? Not many, Block is the only well known one I think

Actually the Ford team and the Raptor won Dakar this year so that's definitely a huge step. I like to see the US get into rally stuff. It's awesome.
Not saying Group A and modern WRC aren't hard to do and exciting to watch. Just saying Group B and previous was better, harder, and more exciting
And considering Ford has won the WRC more times than Mitsubishi and the same amount of times as Subaru, I'd say they're good to go. Its not like Subaru and Mitsubishi ever competed in the REAL rallying anyways, aka Group B and previous

I am really sorry but I think ford is a huge underdog when u compare it to the Japanese and the European rally teams .... I mean even the US rally team uses Subaru and not An American car

@Ron I haven't said anything, but I agree with you. I am not in the military but as an avid watcher of the Military Channel, it has definitely given me even more respect for the military (if that was possible) and more hatred for our enemies

I wonder what modern rally cars would be like if Group B rally cars didn't, well, kill people and was still here today. Doubt normal, everyday hatchbacks like the Fiesta and C4 would/would've been in it
