There are some special editions of cars that are amazing, and then there are the sorts of special editions that give you the opportunity to pay a bunch of extra money for a special color of paint. We've seen some great Gallardo special editions, like the Balboni, but with the Bicolore it seems we're heading into expensive paint territory. In this case, the special paint is two-tone, with a black roof and a body in your choice of five other colors.
This is still, of course, a very exciting car. You still get the 552 horsepower 5.2-liter V10 mated to an all-wheel-drive system and capable of making the dash to 62mph in 3.7 seconds. The bad news is that the Bicolore will be in LP560-4 from only for the European and Asian markets. Americans will have to settle for the LP550-2, a rear-wheel-drive version with 10 fewer horsepower. That hardly seems fair to us.
