@Ken, I totally agree! @Diego, I googled it. The GTO was listed as the first muscle car of the muscle car era, but, the olds is considered the first muscle car.
Now there is a car. Beautiful, simply, and an icon. doesn't get much better than that

@Dennis yes you are correct. The GTO is considered, by most, to be the original muscle car. I prefer the 69 over any other year model :)

The GTO is known for being the first real muscle car. It was the first to take a small framed car and insert a large engine. There are those that argue the point but most muscle car experts, regardless of make preference, agree.
