SEMA 2011: Curtain Raised on the ARK Performance Hyundai Veloster

The Hyundai Veloster by ARK Performance has just been unveiled at the 2011 SEMA Show.
The ARK Performance Hyundai Veloster has just made its debut at the 2011 SEMA Show. As previously reported on CarBuzz, the stock model runs a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine that puts out a pedestrian 138hp and 123lb-ft of torque. Cue ARK and their custom twin-scroll turbocharging capabilities. The tuners from Chino have ratcheted-up the power on the hot little hatch to 201hp thanks to an intercooled turbocharger system and a high-flow exhaust system.

"The Hyundai Veloster is an ideal car for enthusiasts with its distinctive design and dynamic architecture," said Ted Lee, owner, ARK Performance Inc. "At SEMA, our ARK Performance Veloster will bridge the realm between an affordable sports car and an extreme motor sports vehicle. From the first Tiburon, to the Genesis Coupe, and now with the Veloster, ARK Performance continues to uphold the torch as the pioneer of aftermarket performance manufacturing for Hyundai." The ARK Performance Hyundai Veloster also features some interior upgrades for added luxury. Check out the live photos which stray a bit from their rendering but still looks quite fine in Las Vegas.
