i would like to make it clear that i am not a GT-R fanboy. i just hate the camaro so freaking much.
The zr1 (130k)and the ACR (110k) are both over 100k and the new gtr beat the zo6 in terms of speed acceleration and track time. Honestly I prefer the ACR which was not in the multiple comparisons where I got my info : (.

Pound for pound hp for hp the zl1 will win and yea the GTR has all wheel drive but in a 1/4 mile the ZL1 with more "poooowerrr" and more tq would win but the GTR is a good car but the ZL1 would win

Palazzo, awesome name, but kinda arrogant comment, there are numerous brilliant cars from Japan and the GTR is an amazing piece of engineering, plus, to all, 4 wheels drive is just all kinds of win, 0-60, cornering... But of course rwd is heaps more fun
Calm down Vince, that's the ZR1 your talking about, thats a corvette. The ZL1 is a track Camaro, which won't beat the GTR except in maybe a 1/2 or mile drag.
And the ZL1 isn't just power it's a track car which beat the Nurembergring record
this article claims its a GTR killer, I think it would be close, and I'm guessing the GTR will beat the ZL1 on launch, then destroyed after about 3 seconds.
The last comparo the gtr was faster to 60. Faster around the track and still cheaper as tested. The zo6 had the optional zr1 suspension and carbon fiber package It was around 95-98k. Also faster on the nurburg

All you guys trashing the camaro just remember that this is a V6 camaro not an ss if the ss was built up completely just without power adders I'm sure it would keep up if not beat the gtr but not the V6

This probably has over 500 rwhp, the GTR has 530 at the crank, so let's say 480 at the wheels, maybe 470. From a .2l larger engine
How much do they have to spend on a stock Camaro, just to make the numbers look like they can compete? All that, when the GT-R is turn key badness, and will still smoke the heavily modified Camaro!!!

I prefer porsches flat 6, five hundred naturally aspirated horses in the 4.0, and 620 in the gt2 rs
