Andy RogersFeb 11, 2011 Even though we've probably saved your arse somewhere down the line. Just keep biting the hand that feeds you
Andy RogersFeb 11, 2011 I was born here anyways. And I do sometimes show a little biased towards American cars, the good ones that is
No offense to any people born in Asia, everybody else hates the US so it's all good
Andy RogersFeb 11, 2011 None taken. I've never been there myself but I've read enough stuff to know the I really don't want to go there. Perhaps a once, but not for too long. I understand the culture and what not is different, but I'm still very nationalistic to the US
Andy RogersFeb 10, 2011 I can see the European thing but not Asia. And I'm half Asian too!
And maybe I wouldn't kill myself over Europe, but I'll still choose the US in a heartbeat
Andy RogersFeb 10, 2011 And why Asia? I'd rather torture myself to death than live there
Asian cars, overall, are the worst and more boring than any other region
Plus China and North Korea are very close, and with North Korea especially, I want to stay the farthest away
Andy RogersFeb 10, 2011 @Patrick
I'd rather shoot myself. Nice vacation spots (especially Europe) but I'd hate to live there. Except MAYBE Monaco since they have no taxes, but you need to be EXTREMLY rich
Andy RogersFeb 10, 2011 @David
They're not here to stay. People have just been brainwashed into thinking that. What do hybrids still run on? GAS! The future is hydrogen and that still needs further development
David BrightFeb 10, 2011 I think Andy needs to stop being racist against hybrids. Sorry man, but they're here, and I think they're here to stay. I don't have any special liking for them, but I don't hate em
John FrumFeb 10, 2011 The TDI VW Polo gets 70 mpg.
Patrick SchalkFeb 10, 2011 Andy sometimes.... I think you should move to Europe or Asia.
Andy RogersFeb 10, 2011 I know we have higher safety standards which add weight and our fuel is worse, but come on!
Andy RogersFeb 10, 2011 The way forward meaning starting to match the mpg of a non-hybrid Euro car
Put it this way, the Toyota Hilux diesel (Japanese or whatever), the BIG indestructible pick-up, can get 36mpg! Yet our companies think good mpg or our pick-ups is 22
Andy RogersFeb 10, 2011 So now this normal American car gets the same mpg as a normal Euro car? The way forward for our gasoline cars? *reads on* Oh wait never mind it's still basically a dumb hybrid
Andy RogersFeb 10, 2011 Vauxhall cars = Opel cars
With the exception of a few, which still aren't made by Vauxhall at all (ex Vauxhall Monaro = Holden Monaro)
