All mods must be from a corolla, they have to be adjusted to fit.

I own this car, the 1.8 l model. I would not recommend it, way to slow for the fuel efficiency it produces, does 35 in highway, should do more like 45. My dad's '06 civic Si is way faster and just as fuel efficient. And there are absolutely no mods

A lot of mud slinging going on!!

It's an opinion Michael, get over it. The world would be a boring place if we all liked the same things. I'd suggest staying out of forums if reading other points of view bothers you.

If you don't like it, why log on to an article about it. Need to find a more positive outlet for your time and energy. Great price, room, and fuel economy. I'm sure lots of people would love this car.

The name itself is enough to kill the car, let alone the blah refresh.
Bill Gray Feb 13, 2011
How 'bout a brand-a-new CORVETTE!!! They have a semi-hatch.
Mike Hawk Feb 12, 2011
I still wouldn't get a corolla hatch
Michael Turner Feb 11, 2011
Unlike the POS Focus or small unreliable Golf, the Matrix is a good value.
Mike Hawk Feb 11, 2011
Andy's right. They really are low maint cars. But I'm too spoiled with AWD, and I won't settle for less anymore.
Michael Nicolson Feb 10, 2011
Now with sleep-induction.
Andy Rogers Feb 10, 2011
And they're actually a pretty good little cars. I'll spare you guys the details but they're not as bad as you guys might think. Now they're anything but great, but they don't suck
Andy Rogers Feb 10, 2011
Or a Golf, mostly the GTI Or the Chevy Cruze
Vincent Butler Feb 10, 2011
"Matrix" Are shitty cars. My friend has one.
Bob Thebuilder Feb 10, 2011
Never liked them Way too high
Andy Rogers Feb 10, 2011
My family used to have an old one. Nice little car
Description: The Matrix is only available in two trim levels - base and S - and draws its power from either a 132-horsepower 1.8-liter, or a stronger 158-horsepower 2.4-liter four-cylinder. The Matrix will also fe...

They actually cost like 20k out the door
David Guerrero Jul 22, 2012
I got a 2010 with 15k miles for $13k!
Michael Turner Feb 11, 2011
In the U.S. The Matrix starts at $16,700 according to the Toyota website.
Andy Rogers Feb 10, 2011
Well they're wrong. When my dad was going to look at a new manual Matrix, the one he found had extras and was about $18k
Mike Hawk Feb 12, 2011
I looked it up, and apparently, there is no platform sharing with the Vibe/Matrix nor the G6/Solara
Mike Hawk Feb 11, 2011
Jason, I know what you're thinking about. In fact, the last G6 coupe resembled the solara, as well
Andy Rogers Feb 10, 2011
One thing I find really weird about this car is that it can apparently tow just as much as the RAV4 SUV
Lee Hyatt Feb 10, 2011
Looks almost as ugly as the old ome
Jason Dannheim Feb 10, 2011
Hey! Isn't that a Pontiac....oh nevermind.
Scott Lenahan Feb 10, 2011
it looks shorter than the old one...
Eric Crazyman Reynolds Feb 10, 2011
New? Dont look new to me.
Bill Gray Feb 13, 2011
They said most of the new was inside & then didn't give us a picture. What gives Car Buzz? (not that it matters to me... Wouldn't be caught dead in this thing)
