Why I love the new camaros, mustangs, chargers, etc. You get my point. But in terms of pure speed... and handleing these new cars put the old ones on the shelf.

Well dude it does matter that Chrysler and fiat merged, because part of the merge deal was to incorporate European style into American style, so that's what they re doing I personally love this car and with manual transmission it ll be sick

Okay i think tris car looks amazing and for those of you complaining that it looks like an European car stop complaining about that Chrysler merged with Fiat so a lot of the dodge/Chrysler line up is going be European inspired.

This is the ONLY version that Chrysler should sell. The base model should be scrapped. The RT is a joke, just like the 300. I can't stress enough how Chrysler is stupid for trying to compete in the mid-sedan market.

In the late 70's when ford came out with that embarassment of a mustang. The have all recoverd from those mistakes and we all hope dodge does but at this rate it will be a long wait
It doesn't have to look like it but it has to be up to the standards set by the original model. This car is gross. Although it has tons of power it is still ugly. I'm sure they had this debate in the 80's when chevy choked with the corvette and....

Who cares if it isn't a two door or like how it was back then? It only matters what it's like now. If Dodge sells just as many of these Chargers as they did with the old ones then the car is a success.

This doesn't look ricer at all. Ricers have 6ft spoilers, ugly wheels, dropped and inch off the ground, and sounds like a herd of west Nile Mosquitos. This does not have any of those characteristics. Therefor, this Is FAR from being rice.

The only thing remotely close to the evo is the style of headlights. Newsflash for those living under a rock: This style of headlights is a popular trend right now. It goes beyond the charger and evo.

Looks to me like the side detailing is too far back. It needs to be on the front wing just behind the wheel arch & then turned into a fully functional duct. Looks like it was easier to stamp the doors than to stamp the fender.
What was Chrysler thinking when they put that ridiculously idiotic & senseless 5 speed auto gearbox garbage in that Charger ??! It's such a shame... Come on Chrysler .. Give us a true 6 speed short throw shifter manual gearbox.

Well I still agree with many that that the AMG E63 is "muscle". The Camaro may carry an American name, but it's Aussie engineered. (just a couple of examples, to play devil's advocate)

The Genesis is not a muscle or pony car and the CTS, Charger, etc. aren't muscle cars There's always going to be an argument about what's a muscle car and what's not, but I say no modern 4door is a muscle car. Or anything that doesn't have a V8

@Bryan They're basically the same car underneath. The Charger is just uglier, slower, MUCH less retro, and has 2 more doors Weirdly also, the old Challenger at least was more comfortable
And with the upcoming Challenger SRT8 392 (with the 6.4L Hemi and independent rear suspension), it will easily beat the Charger in performance

Chally is still def a better buy but I guarantee you'll see these pop up quite a bit on the streets
And for those hating on the taillights, learn your charger history and stop saying they just copied the challenger. The challenger actually got it's taillights from the charger back in the 70's, the outgoing charger had 68 styled taillights. MOPAR!!!

@Garrick What's price got to do with it? The GT500 costs more than the Charger and the Mustangs and Camaros only cost about $10k less. Then the Boss 302 will cost about the same

I love the new look. The new body style down the side and the tail lights well take some getting used to but I love the slimmer look. It's not like a truck anymore. The back resembles a Chevy Malibu from the side tho.. Thats kinda weird.
