@Reinlado That's not strictly true. But if you have no power and have to mash your foot down to do 30, then yeah more power will actually help your fuel economy. And it really depends more on how you drive, not just what you drive too
Actually a bit more power means that the engine has to work less to move the car :D getting more mpg
Wow that's really good. A 4WD, decently powerful, tuned luxury car that still gets 32mpg Seems like Anthony knows a lot more than the engineers that make hybrids. I'm not kidding either
And I'm not doing anything else because the stageIII don't do so good with the tiptronic trans. They start to grenade around 400ft/lbs

The 2.0 never made 255/357. Not even the upgraded version in the Golf R. It's prob a V6. And 357 must be in Nm. Plus the 265 hp 2.0T was never in the A4. Speaking of which, the GLI should get the A4's version of the 4-cylinder, which makes 211/258.
I agree with Ethan. The MK IV GLI was way better. Beside the looks of this one, the powerplant is lacking now. They first introduced this engine back in '06, and still makes just 200 hp. Modify it a bit VW. The MS3 has you beat by a whole 63 hp.
Yea but it is still a POS. Compare a 04 GLI to an 04 jetta..BIG difference. Front spoiler,sideskirts wheels just LOOKS better. Visually there is almost no difference now. SoMe red stitching and different rims? They got really lazy with this GLI. :(
They say by only does it add power, but it gives you more stuff as standard. So a great deal all around. Also gets rid of the prehistoric suspension and instead has a modern independent setup. I think they get rid of the drum brakes as well

You get a really good special feeling from the solidness of German cars and handling etc.
I have a jetta VI 2011 and it has 170hp. Yeah it looks beautiful but i am jealous of the 30 extra hp that Koreans get
Granted German engineering is amazing, but just like Detroit has lost it's muscle car domination, VW and others should pay attention to the Korean's momentum...they don't have awards in every class for nothing...
So then the RWD masterpiece from Hyundai called the Genesis Coupe 2.0T is boring? True it only makes 210hp stock but if it has caught the attention of tuners like HKS, then the Koreans like Hyundai and KIA are on to something
But the Kia is Korean and the VW is German so I'd still take the Jetta. I don't know how many times I've said this but no offense to Korean people, I have a bunch of Korean friends (I have friends of all races), you just make crappy, boring cars
Less plastic than my jetta looks good! And mine feels great already... Kia optima still makes 200hp for less than 20k though and the turbo does 274 D: More competition yay !
