Just after the debut of the Durango Heat Package, the automaker has released details on their V8-powered offering. For those not satisfied for whatever reason with the new 3.6-liter V6, they still have the option to upgrade to the always popular Hemi V8. With 360 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque, it has a 7,400 lb towing capacity and an EPA fuel economy of 14/20 mpg city/highway with rear-wheel drive and 13/20 with the optional all-wheel drive system.
In order to distinguish the R/T from the rest of the Durango lineup, Dodge
has given it a unique front fascia that features fog lamps, a body-color grille surrounded with black texture and xenon high-intensity discharge headlamps. It also has the option of a "Redline Red" exterior paint. The interior features special "R/T" lettering on the leather seats. There's also a power driver seat with four-way lumbar adjustment. Set to arrive in dealerships this spring, the Durango R/T carries a base price starting at $35,465.
