The only $80k Mustang there is, is that Boss 302 RACE car we saw a few months back. And although it is expensive, it still sticks to the muscle car principle of cheap performance. Pretty cheap for a race car
Phillip Alexander Feb 14, 2011
And if he meant $80,000 he'd be lying again since no mustang is sold at that price. & when your car leaves the strip it needs to be able to turn, something mustangs have done from the beginning, competing in european races.
Sebastian Grey Feb 14, 2011
Haha Reliant's aren't in the U.S., he says. What a nutter. Reliant makes the greatest 3WD cars around!
Mike Hawk Feb 14, 2011
Hook line and sinker for chris!
Mike Hawk Feb 14, 2011
As you can see below, devan, I'm weeding out all the little boys. My "unicorn" approach is one way. (being that unicorns don't exist)
Devan Rogers Feb 14, 2011
The robin is the most reliable most stable car ever made Jk
Chris Benson Feb 14, 2011
Who cares about the reliant? It's not sold in America, and the GT350 has something it will never have, coolness.
Mike Hawk Feb 14, 2011
Whatever...The Reliant Robin GTRS AWD-3 can smoke any Shelby. How's that jingle go? "you can't rock n roll, unless you roll in a reliant"
Phillip Alexander Feb 15, 2011
While drifting isn't a practical use for the daily driver,it doesn't mean it isn't fun. It also takes good handling to compete in high level competition drifting. Drifting by accident is something a civic does in the winter, comp. drifting is a skill
Andy Rogers Feb 15, 2011
@Anthony Not really. I just hate it when people are ignorant, so I get more extreme at times For example the 2011 Mustang aimed for the M3 in PERFORMANCE, nothing else
Andy Rogers Feb 15, 2011
I completely agree with Phillip. The original mustang even competed in rallying and won in its class. Then all muscle cars competed in Trans-AM which requires good handling (for the time) to win
Phillip Alexander Feb 14, 2011
of much more expensive vehicles to mustangs?i don't see hardcore ford fans comparing veyrons or shelby's super cars to camaros.blind company racism is ignorant and dumb. May ken block continue to humble us all in a stinkin fiesta
Phillip Alexander Feb 14, 2011
But seriously mustangs were competing on euro tracks in the '60s & i think most of us know what their tracks look like. Also mustangs are modernly competing with japanese cars in drift competitions, and winning some of them.& why the dumb comparisons
Phillip Alexander Feb 14, 2011
Any comments about mustangs not handling are ignorant & simply stated hoping no one will do their research. I don't think Obama Motors puts steering wheels in their cars,it's pointless(this is just to even the argument,i like some chevy's)
Tom Franquelli Feb 14, 2011
Oh look...more plastic on an already over-designed car. The heavy bumper makes it go faster.
Peter William Larsen Feb 14, 2011
Andy when I see a Shelby beat at CTS-V at a track either taped or confirmed time then I will care about the g's it can pull. Till then it doesn't matter. Oh and a CTS-V easily out handles the the M3 and M5 easily haha.
Nick Manning Feb 14, 2011
Like the body style plus the power is awesome
Anthony Noon Feb 14, 2011
Are you comparing the four door cts-v to the mustang? I don't that's a good comparison at all
Enrique Viera Feb 14, 2011
Pure copied the boss 302
Colton Jason Pierce Feb 14, 2011
Not a fan of the new ponys. But this and the super snaks sexy.
Andy Rogers Feb 14, 2011
Anyways: looks fantastic
Andy Rogers Feb 14, 2011
@Sebastian Is that why the GT500 can pull more G than a Cadillac CTS-V and the normal GTs handle almost as good as an M3?
Richard Rockett Feb 14, 2011
Thing not being able to corner ate ignorant... It's not like it's a challenger
Richard Rockett Feb 14, 2011
The 03-04 cobras had irs but now they all want to switch back to the live axle because they don't hold up on hard launches, but it seems like if the 2011 gt can keep up with the m3 around a track, and the new boss can best it, comments about this
Sebastian Grey Feb 14, 2011
Too bad all it can do is go straight pretty fast. I'd like to see one of those turn a corner at speed.
Anthony Noon Feb 14, 2011
This is far from pure! Any pure performance car wouldn't have a radio, spare tire, back seat, ect. And it WOULD have a roof. The lightweight Porsche boxer is more pure then this.
Patrick Schalk Feb 14, 2011
Eh I like Hennessey.
Eric Green Feb 14, 2011
all mustangs look the same
Michael Ioia Feb 14, 2011
Shelby doesn't make the car they only tune it. Don't think there the "purest" performance but they are nice.
Description: There will be two engines offered: a normally aspirated V8 with 430 hp along with two supercharged variants that will produce 525 hp and 624 hp, respectively. Color choices will include Performance Wh...

Andy Rogers Feb 15, 2011
@Kristoff +1 to that Except the hideous fox bodies
David Carr Feb 14, 2011
How does this compare to the boss 302 I would look but can't find the 302 on here
David Bright Feb 14, 2011
Haha good point Richard
Jonathan Newcastle Feb 14, 2011
Odd numerical system. The GT350 costs more than the GT500. I understand the whole 350 unit run thing, but imagine if a CL 550 costs more than a CL600? See my point?
Richard Rockett Feb 14, 2011
*350 units being built* as ironic as it is to hear in conjunction with the mustang name, you're paying for exclusivity
Anthony Noon Feb 14, 2011
And $63k for the S/C version.
Anthony Noon Feb 14, 2011
Correction the stang will be around $56k
Anthony Noon Feb 14, 2011
So it would be around 48k for the N/A version of this stang and the new ZL1 camaro with 556hp/550tq is set at around 50k as of now. Wonder what will sell more? Only one way to find out
Michael Ioia Feb 14, 2011
Andrew if you read on that 33k is on top of the price of a base Mustang. The Shelby versions will most likely start around 50k.
Andrew Hubbard Feb 14, 2011
33k is truly not that bad!!
Mackenzi Kelly Mar 31, 2011
It looks like Mustang convertible
Phillip Alexander Feb 15, 2011
Ikr!convertibles are really dumb. Less aerodynamic, more weight, mess up your hair (unless youre middle aged and balding), and you can get mad sweaty in it.
Tom Franquelli Feb 14, 2011
Why'd they cut the roof off? :( poor car. Haha
Tim Ginta Feb 14, 2011
i hate the rim they look cheap
Lee Hyatt Feb 14, 2011
Make it a hard top!!
Jonathan Newcastle Feb 14, 2011
GT500 looks better and is cheaper.
Andy Rogers Feb 14, 2011
I wouldn't want a convertible though :/
Description: Last time we checked, a base 2012 Mustang GT coupe starts at $29,995 and $34,995 for the GT convertible. Expensive? Without question, but with such a low production run, the GT350 will likely become a...

This mustang must be black because it has huge lips
Austin Johnson Feb 16, 2011
I just think the grille needs to be blacked out.
Patrick Schalk Feb 15, 2011
I don't really like this one. It looks too generic. Looks like a kid ordered a body kit for his mustang and did a horrible job putting it on
Andy Rogers Feb 15, 2011
The Mercedes SLS and Ferrari F430 aren't made of carbon fiber either. Plus could you imagine how much it would cost if it was made out of carbon fiber. It would make the Mustang a rip off. There's a time and a place
Tom Franquelli Feb 14, 2011
So. Much. Plastic....or whatever it's made of. But as it ain't carbon fibre, and doesn't look like it produces downforce, so...
Sebastian Grey Feb 14, 2011
Those are nice Cragar's.
Kyle Noland Feb 16, 2011
Agree i like the red, white, blue steipes
Phillip Alexander Feb 15, 2011
Sike.mustangs have have nice interior options (the interior lighting is beast).& last time i checked chevy GM doesn't make any chrome dashboards. Just to let everyone know, there's plastic in every car.literally every modern vehicle.all of them.
Vincent Butler Feb 15, 2011
You never see pictures of the dash. Plastic cheap shit
Vincent Butler Feb 15, 2011
All mustangs interior are cheap
Vincent Butler Feb 15, 2011
The interior is cheap as hell for the money your gonna spend for it really isn't worth it
Phillip Alexander Feb 14, 2011
You recognize the model of seatbelts and their price? How do you know they weren't hand woven in a village with the hairs of master yoda?hmmmm?jealous u r,path 2 the honda civic that is.follow this path, cheap spoiler you will buy, duck tape on u will
Tom Franquelli Feb 14, 2011
This is a cheap car. Lol see that? That's plastic.
Bilal Saeed Feb 14, 2011
Normal seat-belts... Really????
Mackenzi Kelly Mar 31, 2011
It's just a replica of the Mustang convertible
Brad Hickey Feb 15, 2011
@Ike ew dude that's gross.
Phillip Alexander Feb 15, 2011
"spelt" is not a past-tense version odlf spell.spelled is.i don't think it's even a written word in english.i'm sure if you google it something will come up but it won't be about spelling.who's dumb? Заткнись!
Kyle Gareau Feb 14, 2011
I like the tail lights and rear facia better than on the standard gt
Patrick Schalk Feb 14, 2011
Love the CME. My car has it too
