I think the golf/GTI line has gone down hill. I like 2005 and later models. I have a '91 GTI and I love it.
Patrick Schalk Feb 27, 2011
Nope nope nope. I do not like

To Reinaldo: Eos=hard top convertible Golf=soft top !
John Frum Feb 26, 2011
Don't get me wrong, the Golf is a great car. Somehow, removing it's roof also removes it masculinity.
Reinaldo Puchu Piñate Feb 26, 2011
Somehow they made it look super girly just by taking the roof off. It's doesn't look bad but what about the eos?
Landon Combass Feb 26, 2011
Well golf has always been a good car making it a convertible. Genius.
John Frum Feb 26, 2011
Can I hear chick car?

Hate verts, really like that front though.
Jason Dannheim Feb 26, 2011

Obviously none of you has had a cabrio the trunk may look small on the outside but thats only the door when it opens it's like a tunnel.
Andy Rogers Feb 27, 2011
The most feminine of them all though is the current Beetle. Completely lost all the awesomeness from the original model I seriously ONLY see girls driving them
John Frum Feb 26, 2011
@Reinaldo: they do have one. It's called the Eos, and it's still a chick car. I see a hatch-turned convertible is useless. There's literally no trunk space, which defeats the purpose of a hatch.
Thomas Vorholt Feb 26, 2011
Looks like they figured you wouldnt be wanting a trunk. Cute car though; I'm sure the wife would love one. Maybe that lack of trunk will keep her from shopping!!! Ive had a change of heart. Great car!!!!!!
Justin Wright Feb 26, 2011
Loving the Euro Golf-R LED Tail lights.
Reinaldo Puchu Piñate Feb 26, 2011
Wouldn't it have made more sense for a jetta convertible? Like you don't have to cut the while hatch off
Oscar Rubio Feb 26, 2011
Looks like a chopped hatch bak
