Live photos of the 700hp Galpin Boss 429-Inspired Mustang have made their way online.
Last week we reported about Galpin Auto Sport's bespoke wide-body Mustang that's taken inspiration from the 1969 Mustang Boss 429. And now, live pictures courtesy from the guys over at MustangsDaily are now online that show the car in all its glory prior to being auctioned off for charity at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona this January. However, it will be making its official debut at the 2011 SEMA show in Las Vegas from September 22nd-24th.
Remaining remarkably close to the sketches, it features a hand-built steel widebody kit that has been finished in Candy Apple Red Pearl PPG paint. Under the hood lies a 5.0-liter V8 that's been fitted with a Ford
Racing supercharger and several other upgrades to give it a total output of 700hp. Other unique features include Wildwood brakes front and rear, three-piece Forgiato wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero Rosso tires, an original 1969 Boss 429 hood scoop and an electronically-controlled exhaust cutout system.
