Tomas FranquelliSep 25, 2011 I would want one; depending on the price, it could be a kickass car.
Edith WhartonSep 25, 2011 Re badge the car as toyota cause more people would respect a toyota inexpensive sports car
Stephen CobbsSep 25, 2011 Scion is one of my favorite brands. Cant wait for this.
Chris BensonSep 25, 2011 Honestly Ford, GM and Plymouth, defined the affordable sports coupe in the 60's bit abandoned it in the 70's because of the insurance and government actions of high prices and smog control, respectively.
Michael GallagherSep 25, 2011 Their ping to enter a new era? I doubt it. They will make this and that's about it
Blaire QuattroSep 25, 2011 Yep. Still will be fun to get the JDM parts ;)

Andy RogersSep 27, 2011 $27k? Ouch. I'll go with a Mustang GT for close to that price. Or a brand new 2005-2009 GT that's even less and still faster. Or a GTI. Or a Mini Cooper S. Etc
Plus it's a Toyota so it will be boring
Nick ZabreckySep 27, 2011 No good sounding 4 cylinder??? I guess it's personal opinion but I get a tingling down below when I hear that Subaru boxer 4 rumble.
Vincent ButlerSep 26, 2011 Wait wait wait. How about that f1 car street legal soon to be for sale. That's a 4banger. It his 0-60 in 2.9 seconds. That sounds amazing.
Kasino JohnsonSep 26, 2011 @Kevin Read the article, bro. First page says all will come to the US.
Payne Hodges WilsonSep 25, 2011 Ken I would agree with you almost 100% except you have never heard a JCW mini Cooper it sounds so amazing but other than that there is no goo sounding four banger
Shane CarrollSep 25, 2011 @Ken I've only heard one, my buddy's Ministock with a Ford 2.3 with a 572 lift cam with open header
Ken MadisonSep 25, 2011 No 4 cylinder sounds good. I wish Toyota got off their rear and developed an aluminum block V6 for this at the minimum.
Edith WhartonSep 25, 2011 Why cant the toyota badge come to america
John AtkinsonSep 25, 2011 A 4 cylinder boxer engine doesnt make it a ricer...these engines deliver good power, performance, and can sound pretty good too. The new wrx is a good example.
Scott GraceySep 25, 2011 If it was Tt V6 or bigger engine it wouldn't be 26K, the whole article is about how it's an economical and affordable sports car, and a V10 is hardly affordable, defeats the purpose
Peter BruschiSep 25, 2011 its toyota... do u expect it not to be a ricer?
Michael PalazzoSep 25, 2011 they should have made it with a twin turbo V6 or a V8 or even a V10, this Asian car looks way to good to have a 4 banger. Now its just gonna be another ricer.
Bracey WrightSep 25, 2011 Omg if I had three wishes one would be never ending money, two would be speak chinese and three would be this car !!!!!!!!! For my birthday
Scott GraceySep 25, 2011 So aggressive looking, really liking toyotas effort to return to the sports car market, even if it'll be a scion in Canada :)
Vincent ButlerSep 25, 2011 Legend like the supra no it will never be. But a fun car indeed
Anthony CordialeSep 25, 2011 I hope this one becomes a legend like the supra
Shane CarrollSep 25, 2011 @Anthony thats like saying the Chevy HHR didn't copy the PT-Cruiser because it has a chevy motor
Nam Doan TrinhSep 25, 2011 How does this look like a 350? Just cuz it's a two door japanese coupe? That's the only resemblance I see. I hate when people say "looks like this, looks like that" because honestly cars are cars some will look the same get over it
Anthony RichardsonSep 25, 2011 Ur forgetting Subaru had input into this car so there really isn't any copying going. And cars nowadays use moat the same parts a emblem is jus the price u pay
Alexa IreneSep 25, 2011 I agree.. Toyota is copying Nissan in their new designs. Same pricing too. Definitely a nice looking car, just wish it was more original
Phillip FitchewSep 25, 2011 And in the interest of being fair, point #2 in my last post was kinda suspect as the guy who mentioned the LFA never says that this better than the LFA, just says it's kinda like it. So my bad. But point #s 1 and 3 are spot on.
Supercar?
Phillip FitchewSep 25, 2011 Now I like and am very excited for this car, and hate that those who are bashing it are doing so but lemme set a few things straight.
1. Pretty sure G-Series>this.
2. Also 200% sure that LFA>this, too.
3. Supercar? No.
Posts make me wonder sometimes.
Rudy HernandezSep 25, 2011 Ohhh yeah we are goonna be waiting looks nice 2 me
Dale FredriksSep 25, 2011 It's an LFA in front of the cabin and a 350z in the rear.
Stephen CobbsSep 25, 2011 Someone take those dang LED's off.

Andy RogersSep 27, 2011 If they keep the price relatively cheap, then it will definitely be worth it!
Scott GraceySep 25, 2011 All depends on the mpgs it puts out in relation to it's speed, great mileage with under 7 seconds is good, its all relevant
Trevor BrownSep 25, 2011 Haha yeah Ken Blocks Fiesta gets there in around 1.7 seconds.
Edith WhartonSep 25, 2011 Thats true. Haha but i was thinking of tanner foust's fiesta. Thats another story
Peter BruschiSep 25, 2011 lol not bad for a lil fiesta
Adam LefkowitzSep 25, 2011 less than seven seconds isn't fast.. it's just not that slow
Heath SpenceSep 25, 2011 I want this for a daily driver so I can put the GTO in garage and wrench on it.
Kent SullivanSep 25, 2011 That's a bit of a stretch man. A huge stretch

Peter BruschiSep 25, 2011 i like dis :D fav jag right here
Michael PalazzoSep 25, 2011 such a cool Jag, way better looking than the XK
Chris BensonSep 25, 2011 It is, I just hope the production version looks the same, aside from some of the silly interior bits.

Aj TheDark ArtistSep 25, 2011 That's what they mean. There's so many years between models.
Phillip FitchewSep 25, 2011 Not so hard to believe when you consider that there was something like 60 years between first and second Gen.

John ParkSep 25, 2011 So a 4cylinder beetle has a quad exaust? Thats to far
Andy RogersSep 27, 2011 It's getting better styling wise, but I still can't see a man driving it really
Ben WatsonSep 26, 2011 I agree with Michael, anything less than that would be underpowered in a high power market.
Shaun ConroySep 25, 2011 I've been in one of these, and the model I sat in wasn't worth it's $24,000 price tag. I have three VW's, this one isn't nearly as nice!
Michael WilsonSep 25, 2011 they should make an rs version and put a v6 in the rear and make it AWD
Daniel HendricksonSep 25, 2011 Wow the only thing this proves is that vw can cut a roof off
Miguel BlancoSep 25, 2011 It does look more appealing but Volkswagen has to try harder than this for me to ever buy one
Taylor AndersSep 25, 2011 They already have a high performance one though, it's called the 911
Chris BensonSep 25, 2011 Looks great, defiantly less chick-ish.
Brady FeredaySep 25, 2011 Man they need a baja edition for it and I would get one ^_^

Andy RogersSep 27, 2011 @Daniel
An M3 starts at $60k. Although all the ones I've seen for sale are at least $70k. Not to mention an M3 won't be as exciting and nowhere near as good looking
Andy RogersSep 27, 2011 @John
1M!!!!
There's a big difference between an M1 and 1M although both are fantastic cars
Daniel GilSep 25, 2011 For 50k I rather buy the M3
Edith WhartonSep 25, 2011 With that price its the equivalent of a lotus i think
Andy RogersSep 27, 2011 Gorgeous! Although silver type colors are really boring looking...except really on that Jag
Chris BjorgolfssonSep 25, 2011 @Ian - less than 2000 lbs, this is similar to an Elise, the 0-60 will be on par with other 50k cars but the braking and handling is likely to be above average. I am actually excited about this one but, admittedly, at 50k you can get a 430hp corvette. But this thing will turn more heads and looks better so I can understand people buying one.
Shane CarrollSep 25, 2011 @Phillip probably, but I'm wary of an Alfa's reliability stock. I'm not about to put boost to it
Michael WilsonSep 25, 2011 for the same.price you can buy a FFM GTM
Trevor DeereSep 25, 2011 Great looking car...but for 50k?(which is the base model) your crazy. I understand it is a great looking car but I'd rather buy something much more faster and better looking.
Alexa IreneSep 25, 2011 Love this! They can just park that in my driveway.
Miguel BlancoSep 25, 2011 I like it but not in this color. For some reason it should be red. But that's just me
Phillip FitchewSep 25, 2011 I'm pretty sure the Jag will be more expensive. I'm also certain that you could get better numbers out of the engine with relatively little effort. And it's obvious to anyone with eyes that an M1 AIN'T GOT NOTHIN on these curves.
Luke PurdySep 25, 2011 I puked when I saw this. I'm up for the jag
Michael PalazzoSep 25, 2011 another car like the FT-86, looks like it should be faster but they put in a smaller engine.
Robert Murray BylSep 25, 2011 Ya I would too it's not that mean or sleek
Aye KimSep 25, 2011 I'll buy jag over this in a heart beat.
Carlos Gallego RodriguezSep 25, 2011 First time i saw i was thinking that this car was good but a bit weird. But every single time that i see it again for me it's just going better and better
