Phillip GreeneOct 07, 2011 Its not quad its a duel with twin tips on the muflers
Colin DzendoletSep 27, 2011 @patrick it's gonna have a quad exhaust too
Colin BarrSep 26, 2011 That's funny considering the 2nd 2009/10 Camaro sold on barrett Jackson for like $600k lmao
Caleb LochridgeSep 26, 2011 47k? Nice price. I thought since the first ZR1 sold for 1M and retailed at 100k after that, it would mean that this ZL1 selling for 250k would mean the retail would be like 25k. I should keep dreaming huh
Patrick SchalkSep 26, 2011 It's only gonna be 47k?!?!?! Hell yes!
Sebastian GreySep 26, 2011 What extra 10 cents? You mean the next sentence that says "100 percent"?
Andrew GrimmSep 26, 2011 Yea it's crazy how much people will pay for the first car made. But I understand that a lot of people like having the first one for collecting purposes.
Andrew GrimmSep 26, 2011 And I watched this auction. It was crazy how high it was going up in the bids. I thought it was gonna go higher.
Andrew GrimmSep 26, 2011 Atleast he didn't pay 1 million dollars like the first ZR1 sold at.
Cory KempsSep 26, 2011 That extra 10 cents must've shown a brutal bidding war haha
Ken MadisonSep 26, 2011 Good deal on the charity part.
Vincent GagliotiSep 26, 2011 He also payed a lot of money for the first volt
Colin DzendoletSep 27, 2011 @ken I've seen a 94 Supra dynoed at 645rwhp with a stock exhaust and stock bottom end, no fart can or rice about it
Colin DzendoletSep 27, 2011 @michaelgallagher nothing is overpriced at BarrettJackson, it's all about what the market will bear for that vehicle @ that time, and for charity it's always worth extra $ for a good cause
Vincent ButlerSep 27, 2011 How about that 700k go for schooling!!!
Ken MadisonSep 26, 2011 I hope that $700,000 went to the wounded warrior project. They do great things.
No PistonsSep 26, 2011 Ya they are a must to attend oh and the donor car for the troops went for $700k
Stephen IshardSep 26, 2011 No it adds 820 because of the fart can it's a ricer thing
Ken MadisonSep 26, 2011 I was agreeing with you Miguel haha.
And I really need to start going to these auctions then.
No PistonsSep 26, 2011 Ya Ken it was a real treat to see how much the donation cars went for along with just being able to see over 300 classics/true American muscle ranging from 50s corvettes to srt vipers and custom hot rods
Miguel BlancoSep 26, 2011 I meant that a 800 hp Civic can't defeat the Camaro. I said it wrong. My bad
Ken MadisonSep 26, 2011 Agreed, you won't go anywhere with 800 to the front.
And no pistons, I'd love to have been there.
Shane CarrollSep 26, 2011 @Miguel yeah, 800+ to the FRONT wheels, good luck with that
Miguel BlancoSep 26, 2011 Just because it has 800 horsepower mean it can kill this thing. I'd love to see that 800 hp kill this on turns
Greg LewisSep 26, 2011 Psh, fodr tranny bad? My poor dodge still goes through a 5-speed auto stick! And if I recall the first challengers were blue srt8's that went on eBay for 225k. Always good to see someone with money give it up for charity.
No PistonsSep 26, 2011 I was able to get on the bidder floor for this, a lot and I mean a lot of nice rides came through. I believe a car sold for around $200k with it going straight to the troops. A mosier rapter GTR was also auctioned off that was a treat to see
Caleb LochridgeSep 26, 2011 Wait, an 820hp fart can? I gotta see this!! :-)
Sebastian GreySep 26, 2011 @Elwood. *you're, they're, doesn't. Come on buddy, let's try to use some proper grammar on this site. This isn't some inane Internet comment board.
Patrick SchalkSep 26, 2011 Well at least the transmissions aren't junk like in the Mustangs.
Michael GallagherSep 26, 2011 Yay! Barrett Jackson. Where everything is overpriced. Yippie
Jorge MartinsSep 26, 2011 Ken stop the hate! My buddy's over tuned 820hp fart can civic ricer what ever you wanna a call it will kill this thing.
This car is awesome. I wish I had one.
Elwood Friedchicken StcharlesSep 26, 2011 @Ken what do u mean supra are overtuned just because there fast dont mean there overtuned or a ricer
Ken MadisonSep 26, 2011 Over tuned? I believe your thinking of all the old Supras and ricers, those are "over tuned"....
Miguel BlancoSep 26, 2011 I love the Camaro but it looks hideous at this angle
Description: Delivery of his new ZL1 will take place early in 2012. But why exactly is this particular ZL1 so special and worth top dollar? Besides those who will benefit from the sale, it will be the only 2012 ZL...Add Comments4
Trevor BrownSep 26, 2011 So only 68 original ZL1s were produced at Oshawa? Where was the other one made?
Ken MadisonSep 26, 2011 It wouldn't be hard to make a engine similar to the C5R and even C6R.
Caleb LochridgeSep 26, 2011 They should give us a corvette with the same specs as the C5R but street legal
Andrew GrimmSep 26, 2011 The 1969 Corvette Sting Ray ZL1 was my dream car and was planning on buying one one day, until I found out only 3 were made. So I'm going to just try and buy one with the L88.
Description: Total power output was officially rated at 430hp, but in reality could produce over 500hp. Appropriately, the '69 Camaro was recently voted as the "best Chevy of all time" in a recent o...Add Comments0
Kristian SwitserSep 27, 2011 Thts crazy and a smart way to make a lot of money.
Colin DzendoletSep 27, 2011 @Andrew check out streetfire.net, old friend of mine dropped an ls1 into an fd rx-7, siiiiick
Michael PalazzoSep 26, 2011 I want this, I'd love to see the look on this guys face if I rolled up next to him in a ZL1 in the same color from a custom paint shop.
Andrew GrimmSep 26, 2011 I want a stockish looking 97 240sx kouki with an LS6 under the hood. That's a pretty big sleeper, until I hit the gas ;]
Greg LewisSep 26, 2011 Or that article about the Chinese guy mad at his lambo and beat it with a sledge... Looks like other camaro's? True car lovers want sleepers... That's what this bad boy is!
Sebastian GreySep 26, 2011 That's because it is the same as a regular Camaro. Do you know what tuning is?
David RosenbergSep 26, 2011 Looks the same as the regular camaro!?!
Ben WatsonSep 26, 2011 What's different about the color? Metallic or pearl?
Michael PalazzoSep 26, 2011 such a cool color, too bad its a one of a kind
Its not quad its a duel with twin tips on the muflers
@patrick it's gonna have a quad exhaust too
That's funny considering the 2nd 2009/10 Camaro sold on barrett Jackson for like $600k lmao
