I'm in love. Next car I buy. Now do I trade in the genesis or not? Depends how much they will give me for it I guess
Ashanti Jones Jan 10, 2012

Cory Hileman Jan 16, 2012
I live and breathe ae86 and I would kill for a chance to own any variant of this car. Suby, Toyota, scion, it don't matter just so long as its fr, count me in!

Shane just stop talking this car will be amazing! Not only will it be a great drifting car but it has tons of potential with the boxer engine and how light weight it is
Vincent Butler Jan 10, 2012
"To bad its gonna be slow" It's 2700 pounds with 200hp. Slow?? No it wouldn't be. That's Really REALLY LIGHT WIEGHT BTW. It will be a quick light wieght car, so they say the suspension is amazing. The control of the car is Perfect.
Shane Heid Jan 10, 2012
@ Evan i don't care what it's the successor of I said its gonna be slow and it is.
Shane Heid Jan 10, 2012
@rockstar your retarded because we all know the stock one is 200 and that is what I was talking about. Think man geez
Adenis AK Ruci Jan 10, 2012
@evan. Not cheap anymore :(
No Pistons Jan 10, 2012
I think where the misconception comes from is this is being advertised/seen as a sports car but is obviously underpowered compared to its competitors but as Evan said its the successor of the 86, what was the 86 considered as?
Matty Michaels Jan 10, 2012
600HP and 500TRQ yeh its gunna be slow
rockstarTc Jan 10, 2012
@shane and el you two are retarded! It has 600hp this thing will be beast enough said
Tomas Franquelli Jan 10, 2012

Shane Heid Jan 10, 2012

Eric Guillemette Jan 10, 2012
It's soo nice to see rwd 4cyl cars coming back. I always was a fan of the 240. This car looks like a ton of fun to drive
Description: The 2.0-liter boxer-four produces 600hp and 500lb-ft of torque thanks to a spot of turbocharging, a massive 400hp and 346lb-ft of the stock version, and the drift car has been lightened by 300 pounds ...

I agree with Jeff about foust driving but I think he dropped out of formula d to focus on rally. Then again, I could drive it for them. Haha
Jeff Daniels Jan 14, 2012
Universal technical institute in rancho cucamonga, ca. They bring the drift cars there for all the inspections before the season
Andrew Grimm Jan 10, 2012
What school do you go tooooo!??
Jeff Daniels Jan 10, 2012
They shoulda had Tanner Foust drift with it. He did use the tC a couple years back. But at least I get to check out all the drift cars at my school in April before the season ^_^
Hank Austin Jan 10, 2012
Holy s***! That's a lot of power
Andrew Grimm Jan 10, 2012
That's a ton of power for that little boxer!
Description: Scion has also announced its special 'First 86' program, which gives 86 people the chance to be the first to own the Scion FR-S before the RWD sports coupe goes on sale to the general public...

Then why doesn't it have a sideways spoiler?
No Pistons Jan 10, 2012
You need massive amounts of downforce to help stop the car from just spinning in circles, drifting is the art of controlled chaos.
Teddy MacDonell Jan 10, 2012
is a spoiler that big necessary if you're going sideways the majority of the time?
rockstarTc Jan 10, 2012
that thing looks absolutely amazing...they should put this in production I would be drifting every turn to work! ha
Thomas Messina Jan 10, 2012
Not bad. The spoiler is so sick
Garrett Chatterton Jan 10, 2012
Not even out yet and they already modified it lol
Jason Brower Jan 10, 2012
A tray diffuser would have looked nice, but it might look to far from stock.
No Pistons Jan 10, 2012
Still trying to find it lol
Garrett Keller Jan 10, 2012
I think the spoiler works well with the way the back is shaped
Jackson Hubbard Jan 10, 2012
Well Scion = Toyota, so yes, it could be called Asian.
Jeffrey Mares Jan 10, 2012
I like the old school arcade style starter button
