Nissan Nismo Micra Concept Arrives at Tokyo Auto Salon 2012

Nissan’s in-house tuning firm Nismo has just released their Micra Concept in Japan.

The Tokyo Auto Salon aka Japanese SEMA features a vast array of automaker's in-house tuning companies showing off their wares. Nissan's own tuning firm, Nismo, has just released the first pictures of the Micra minicar concept. In true Nismo form, the tuners have worked the Micra Concept for performance and looks. A tighter suspension and a set of lightweight alloy wheels addresses the former, while a more aggressive stance and some bold styling lines are the product of the latter.

The aerodynamic body kit was developed using the firm's racing technology, beginning with a modified front grille and moving down towards its new side mirrors. It ends with a rear lip spoiler. Sporty features also find its way into the interior, with a sports-steering wheel and racing seats. The Nissan Nismo Concept is currently on display at the 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon, which runs through this weekend.
