Carl Andrew Muniz Tirella Jan 15, 2012

Vince DeMasi Jan 15, 2012
National football league! And no not European football American football
John Serely Jan 15, 2012
@wanye where are you from? I really really hope your not from America if you have never heard of the NFL lol.
Alex Stanzel Jan 15, 2012
You've never heard of the NFL before?
Wayne Joseph Borean Jan 15, 2012
You should at least pick a league that people have heard of, like the National Hockey League or FIFA.

Prius? Come on dude.
Jacob Anthony Soto Jan 15, 2012
Prius C anyone? I understand it isn't the coolest thing, but 53 mpg for less than $19,000 is game changing.
Hank Austin Jan 15, 2012
The HID projectors in the headlight are just a little too awkward IMO
Matt Piccolo Jan 15, 2012
I really don't like this or the new fusion :s
Dimitry Mikhailovich Malikov Jan 15, 2012
Well, obviously. That's a Cadillac!
Ben Miner Jan 15, 2012
This is pretty bad ass, I would pick it over the fusion any day.

Ah that's hardly a comparison, even ford fans would expect the Caddy to win

Aaron Porter Jan 15, 2012
I agree with shane, not a chance is cadillac in the category as rr or bentley.
Steven Wilson Jan 15, 2012
Well, if i was buying with my money and these were the two choices, Give me the fusion. I like the bold styling in the Fusion - even if it is just an updated Mondeo. I find the ATS to be boring. Based on styling, I wouldn't even test drive the caddy.
Shane Jansen Jan 15, 2012
Since when did Cadillac ever compete with RR and Bentley?
Devin Babyn Jan 15, 2012
Recilence isn't a word and change you LG (little girl) shaving cream beard pick
Carl Andrew Muniz Tirella Jan 15, 2012
They are competing recilence, not luxury. The CTS changed Caddys image but the ATS is creating the true standard for the brand, the fusion is just a nice, new sedan. But nothing extraordinary in comparision
Jeremiah Goins Jan 15, 2012
This is a joke. Comparing apples and oranges.
Kyle McCullough Jan 15, 2012
That would be I4, not V4
Matt Piccolo Jan 15, 2012
Wow, both of the engines in the fusion are underpowered for the class, I know for a fact the new accord had like 11 more hp for the v4 and the v6 has like 75 more hp than the fusion!!!!
Ron Neus Jan 15, 2012
Ford Fusion already Earns Autoweek’s Highest Honor: Named Best in Show at North American International Auto Show
Colin Dzendolet Jan 15, 2012
The CTS is doing that, ATS is just expanding onto its success and challenges to the more 'relevant' luxury automakers, Ford is making a much larger step by bringing the Mondeo to the US
Colin Dzendolet Jan 15, 2012
Could be argued there, the ATS obviously is a huge addition to the segment, but the fact that Ford is finally bringing their class-leading sedan to the US is hugely relevant
Vic Orutsahakij Jan 15, 2012
Look like Aston Martin
Hank Austin Jan 15, 2012
If ford gives this the same sort of philosophy that they gave the focus (as far as having a ton of features for really cheap) then I can see it being really good
Logan LeMonnier Jan 15, 2012
I've always hated ford designs especially the...(shudder) taurus. but I would buy this
Bull Dogone Jan 15, 2012
Here Guppy, Guppy...
Matt Piccolo Jan 15, 2012
This isnt as nice as I was hopping... Accord has this beat Forsure
Steve Caton Jan 15, 2012
Well it's no mystery that Ford will sell more Fusions than Cadillac will sell ATS's. They don't even compete in the same niche. The Fusion competes against Accords and the like. The ATS plays with the 3 series and A4.
Wayne Joseph Borean Jan 15, 2012
But which will take a larger portion of its market? It is going to be interesting watching these cars compete in the market.

I agree. The comparisons are screwed up.
Dennis Rech Jan 15, 2012
I think it may have been more appropriate to compare ATS with Redline and Fusion/ Mondeo with the Dart. That seems to be a more likely pairing because of closer segment orientation.

I'm also not a fan of the 3 quarter square like indent but that black piece of plastic just looks stupid
Carl Andrew Muniz Tirella Jan 15, 2012
It's probably carbon fiber
Bull Dogone Jan 15, 2012
Now that you mention it, yeah, WTH is that?
Matt Sutton Jan 15, 2012
My thought exactly matt. I love the car, but the black piece on the side seems very out of place. An R/T badge would have been just fine.
Matt Piccolo Jan 15, 2012
Whats with the black plastic on the side
Rueben J Yslas Jan 16, 2012
From the a pillar back it looks like a volt.
Jeremiah Goins Jan 15, 2012

No one read the seeding process did they?
Hank Austin Jan 15, 2012
Btw someone who is looking at an SL wouldn't even think of looking at a vette or GT-R because they want something that massages their back and blows hot air on their neck... It's more of a peaceful cruising car than anything else
Hank Austin Jan 15, 2012
Would have made so much more sense if they just compared the 911 to the SL and the veloster to the mini
Alex Leu Jan 15, 2012

I would rather have an awesome MINI than that desperate housewife SL. For sure.
Eric Michalak Jan 15, 2012
JCW minis are more of a rip-off than about any car out there.
Aaron Porter Jan 15, 2012
How in the world are they comparing a merc to a mini?

Don't forget gronk either
Alex Leu Jan 15, 2012
So...then whos the Tom Brady of the group?
Zachary Maurer Jan 15, 2012
So if it's like tebow, it will do good in the begining, then crap out and let down the lineup?
Justin Pedoto Jan 15, 2012
I would much rather have the SL
Bull Dogone Jan 15, 2012
Put down the crack pipe and back away slowly. No one with the $$$ to buy an SL even knows what a Mini Cooper is unless they bought one for their illegal alien housekeeper to drive to the store.
Alex Stanzel Jan 15, 2012
You don't live in america do you.
Robby Bradford Jan 15, 2012
I'm sorry carbuzz, but the roadster isn't going anywhere. I like the tebow reference cuz he isn't going anywhere yoo
John Serely Jan 16, 2012
@tomas actually, it is marketed towards old men.
Tomas Franquelli Jan 16, 2012
Let's take the SLS, make it ugly, and market it to trophy wives. Good plan.
Josiah Thomas Clements Jan 15, 2012
It has alot of design cues from the SLS, but for a lower price.
John Serely Jan 15, 2012
Looks really good IMO
Dimitry Mikhailovich Malikov Jan 15, 2012
I think it's ugly. The precious is so much better.
Rudolf Dassler Jan 15, 2012
Really an hommage to the seventies... I love it...

Josiah Thomas Clements Jan 15, 2012

Matthew Crighton Jan 15, 2012

Looks the same as every other 911 I have seen in my 23 years. Beyond boring.
Jeremiah Goins Jan 15, 2012
There is a reason for seeding in football. It doesn't make sense here.
Alex Leu Jan 15, 2012
Yeah but if this is like the real playoffs then there has to be seeding..then we advance to the next round (article) and see..
Dennis Rech Jan 15, 2012
Once again the matchup is mixed. SL vs. 911 and Mini vs. Hyundai. Price should never play into things after the first round. Sorry Carbuzz but this is an all around fail.
Colin Dzendolet Jan 15, 2012
unite on the fact that regardless of the reasons/criteria for the matchup, there's no competition at all here
Colin Dzendolet Jan 15, 2012
Porsche fanboys are about to unite on this one
Razor Curtiss Jan 15, 2012
No shit the porche won lol
Jayson Lankster Jan 16, 2012
I just wish they'd change it up a bit. don't get me wrong, I love these cars but they are cookie cut and what's the point of making "new" cars when they have the same performance and same body.
Kevin Rehbock Jan 15, 2012
Until you drive it. This is the shape that sells. The most iconic sports car in the world is hardly yawn-inducing.
Hank Austin Jan 15, 2012

John Serely Jan 15, 2012
@Adam You don't mess with perfection.
Joshua Grant Robinson Jan 15, 2012
Well I do agree to some extent but I do believe that to continuously improve a product like this with only minor mods to what already looks great is a great way to develop a world class car!
Adam Fox Jan 15, 2012
Oh wow! A 911! It's so much different from any 911 in the past decade! Oh wait...
Miguel Escajeda Jan 28, 2012
I lime the aggressive lines of this car.
Jayson Lankster Jan 16, 2012

Oliver Hellström Jan 15, 2012
