Steven WilsonJan 15, 2012 Regardless of what Caddy marketing will have us believe, theCaddy will not beat the BMW - or the Merc or Audi for that matter - and will not have a significant impact on the world stage.
Riley GonzalesJan 15, 2012 The gayts may have the tech to compete with its segment, but overall the dart will have more sales because all the greenies out there will prefer the 40 mpg fun to drive technology packed dart
Bull DogoneJan 15, 2012 Hahaha
Ask Dodge how many Calibers and Calibers SRTs and Avengers they sold.
No, I'll wait. Really. This shouldn't take long.
The assumption is stupid. They ***might*** sell mode Neon Darts because they're cheap, but it's not a game changer like ATS.
Keenan CasteelJan 15, 2012 The Caddy will sell well here. However, I do not believe it will sell well in Europe. Europe already has the standard in luxury sport sedans. And while Caddy say they're the "new standard" the world hasn't accepted it.
Chris BridgersJan 15, 2012 its ethics and past events that recur.
the caddy is old and not very innovating, the darts fresh and new. Its less so itll also sell more.
Patrick SchalkJan 15, 2012 Dude that's awesome you can tell the future. Wanna hit me up with some lottery numbers?
Paul BeausejourJan 15, 2012 People with money to buy the ATS want the status as well. It's like the GTR in China. Too inexepensive for the rich, so they go buy a Ferrari. It's "only" a Nissan. BMW and Audi will outsell the ATS easily.
Paul BeausejourJan 15, 2012 I have to disagree. The sheer volume of sales would make the Dart a clear winner. The Dart makes Dodge a competitor with a chance of taking the sales crown for the segment. Let's not kid ourselves. The Caddy will finish last in their segment.
Cody AndreeJan 16, 2012 Hopefully it's not plagued with issues like the caterra
Kyle McCulloughJan 15, 2012 Im thinking an ATS coupe will make a sweet first car

Bull DogoneJan 15, 2012 On my shopping list. Put off a new Lexus last night to see and drive this. I'm hoping it's as good as it looks. Anticipating a rocket with a lighter body and a big, powerful 3.6L V6 RWD drivetrain.

Shane JansenJan 15, 2012 @Jamie have you seen the new dart yet? Lol
Jamie PerigoJan 15, 2012 Funny but the 20k dart is better looking than the 50k crapillac

Alexander R HernandezJan 15, 2012 @Colin exactly if they have something better why don't they make it the best that it could be and make the 911 as a flagship like Mercedes with the s class it's not the fastest but the nicest
Colin DzendoletJan 15, 2012 @Alexander they can't and wont make the Cayman better BC it fits perfectly between the Boxster and 911, if there was a Cayman Turbo, it would smoke the 911 every day of the week, but then how can you justify $20k more for the 911?
Colin DzendoletJan 15, 2012 the 911 has been the same shape for about 30 years, 'tried-and-true' can be a good thing, but throw some variety in there
Alexander R HernandezJan 15, 2012 And one more thing, if Porsche put as much time and effort into the cayman as they did into the 911, the cayman would kill it in every way! the cayman has a better structure for a sports car with the engine being in the middle and low is the best
Alexander R HernandezJan 15, 2012 Personally I'm sick of it! They need to change the shape of the car in some way to call it an all new car it hasn't changed for 16 years!!!! I'm not saying the 911 sucks, I'm saying don't call it an all new car when it isn't.
Alexander R HernandezJan 15, 2012 Please stop saying all new Porsche 911 because it's not all new the 911 has looked the same since 1998 all they ever do is change the lights and the gills on the back and the interior for example there's an episode of top gear that shows that

Patrick SchalkJan 16, 2012 Haha it's not gonna matter what I say cause it won't be good enough for you. I've been on here too long to fall for that trick.
Rudolf DasslerJan 16, 2012 Come on Patrick, name three decent midrange cars from the last fice year, not entirely made of cheap ass materials....
Patrick SchalkJan 15, 2012 No I mean about how people don't think anyone else can make a decent car compared to the 3 Series. Like this douche on here.
Devin BabynJan 15, 2012 Well shit to the engine happens the stuff in the interior is unacceptable though. His seat belt hander over thing's don't work
Devin BabynJan 15, 2012 I do have to say he drives it like a 18 year old who has a 3.0 TT should. So I'm not surprised shit happens
Patrick SchalkJan 15, 2012 This is what I was talking about Devin. See?
Rudolf DasslerJan 15, 2012 Ye, shit happens... My '97 e500 broke down constantly... Engine failure, electrical failure, corrosion beyond belief. My '08 e500 is one of the best cars ever! My point is, sometimes u get unlucky. Bmw is usually known to be reliable...
Devin BabynJan 15, 2012 Rudolf I do agree with you that Euro car's for the most part are better but I know BMW's are not reliable. My buddy had his 08 335i for 2 months and it was in the shop 3 times. He's had it for over 6 months now and it's gone in 5 times
Dimitry Mikhailovich MalikovJan 15, 2012 *Chloe
I understand. I feel very sorry for you. BTW, are you really half Russian?
Dimitry Mikhailovich MalikovJan 15, 2012 *Chloe
None taken) I don't own any Russian car and I hate them, so I don't really care. I can only support you. BTW, what car did you have?
Dimitry Mikhailovich MalikovJan 15, 2012 *Rudolf
Well, actually not all cars are high class here. Only European and American. And I'm not talking about Peugeot, Renault, Dodge Neon and all that stuff. There is a reason for American cars being high class in Russia. For example a base Corvette costs minimum 60000 $. A base Tahoe is 50000 $. A Mustang is at least 50000 $.
Rudolf DasslerJan 15, 2012 Ye, he did, didn't he? The live through these miles and still look and feel great... Why would u use a crappy car as a cab? No need for customers?
Dennis RechJan 15, 2012 You answered your own question Bull. Because the last for so many miles.
Bull DogoneJan 15, 2012 I only wear Puma, homie. So I do like SOME things German.
BTW, if a Mercedes is SO prestigious as you confidently claim, why are they used for taxicabs?
We use those crappy Impalas and Crown Vic's because they only live a million hard miles as a taxi
Rudolf DasslerJan 15, 2012 Btw, every car, except for the russian one, has to be considered highclass in russia... Then again, there r lots of nice rides in russia... Love the unlim 500 clips...
Rudolf DasslerJan 15, 2012 I said I love the gt40... The only decent car from us... The s7 is a headturner, but so is a Vector W8 and boy is that ugly! I also mentioned that I see some improvements... I just love to hate sometimes... =)
Luis Enrique LaraJan 15, 2012 So carbuzz go buy a cadillac i"ll take a porche by far
Dimitry Mikhailovich MalikovJan 15, 2012 I own a few European cars and a few American, and I can agree that American cars are behind European in terms of interior quality and design. That's something that can be improved. But they are not as horrible as you think. Oh, and BTW in Russia, American cars are considered high class.
Dennis RechJan 15, 2012 If they never change the overall package and keep riding the same line then as innovative as the upgrades are its never a game changer. The release of the Boxster, Caymen, GT and Cayanne were game changers. They redefined a segment.
Dimitry Mikhailovich MalikovJan 15, 2012 *Rudolf
No pretty ones? What about the Ford GT, Saleen S7, Dodge Viper, and all the other cars I mentioned earlier? I think, they all look magnificent. Again, that's a matter of taste, but dont most of them turn heads?
Dennis RechJan 15, 2012 Rudolf, there's good and bad cars in every country. You talk about how superior the Porshe is but it should be if you think about it. In all the years the 911 has been around it has changed little. The first ones look very much like the new ones.
Rudolf DasslerJan 15, 2012 @bull, stick to your Nikes...
Bull DogoneJan 15, 2012 Hey Dassler, besides your expected superiority complex attitude we've come to expect from Euro Fan Boys, you part of the Adi Dassler empire? I could use a new pair of shoes!
Mirko GalavottiJan 15, 2012 Ats is new, nice and cool so it's the best of Detroit
Chris BridgersJan 15, 2012 the minis actually really fun, its like an angry volkswagon
Rudolf DasslerJan 15, 2012 @anthony styling wise the caddy seems to suffer from the same thing as porsche... All caddys look alike to me...
I doubt the Mini being more fun to drive than a 911...
Rudolf DasslerJan 15, 2012 Cars... Us builds fun cars, no pretty ones, nor the best ones, but fun cars... And yes, Ican appreciate a nice 69 camaro or chally... =)
Rudolf DasslerJan 15, 2012 I'm gonna stop hating. Us cars aren't that bad, but they can't keep up with germans yet. I def see the effort they make, and I think they would be good competition if they were cheaper... Lots of ppl here hate, but can't take it ppl hatin on their
Anthony Villa-GarciaJan 15, 2012 On the side note, i think the MINI should have one because its more fun to drive, and has new styling (porsche cough). Also the ATS isnt out yet, so how could someone judge its driving or performance?
Rudolf DasslerJan 15, 2012 No, not only bc they are european, bc they set quality standards. No american car beat a german car, period. American cars are as reliable as Lancias... That says it all.
Jordan SmithJan 15, 2012 I hate it when people believe European cars simply beat everything on the market because they're European.
Rudolf DasslerJan 15, 2012 Btw, german cars aren't good, they're bloody brilliant!
Rudolf DasslerJan 15, 2012 Ur dreamcar is a mazda! U are out!
Rudolf DasslerJan 15, 2012 Sure, they build crap... But most of the average cars from the states feel the same... I remember a beautiful car called the PT cruiser... This car is my personal nightmare. Never has there been anything worse on 4 wheels
Rudolf DasslerJan 15, 2012 It's all about ur own preferences.. U want a fast car made out of recycled water pistols? Buy a vette by all means. I couldn't settle for that. But that's just me.
Rudolf DasslerJan 15, 2012 I love the gt 40... The rest...? No, not so much... They are crap compared to german cars, ye... In terms of build quality... U can't blame a vette for havib a nice interior, regardless of the engine... But if u settle for that, fine... I rather
Dimitry Mikhailovich MalikovJan 15, 2012 Look at the ZR1, Charger, Challenger, CTS-V, Ford GT, Saleen S7, Shelby GT500, Camaro ZL1, SSC Ultimate Aero and Tautara, 300C, Dodge Viper e.t.c. are those cheap crap? No!
Rudolf DasslerJan 15, 2012 In terms of build quality. Ur cars are crap and u know it, the only reason for u to buy em is bc they're fairly cheap and have huge engines...
Rudolf DasslerJan 15, 2012 This article is just a way of ensuring americans that u actually produce decent cars, truth is, u don't. U produce crap cars with enormous engines and call em great engineering. No car from the states beats a german car. U can't even keep up with Kia
Colin DzendoletJan 15, 2012 don't forget that 'ze German's' product is superior and "vill anihilate ze competizion and conquer ze vorld market!"
Payne Hodges WilsonJan 15, 2012 This I disagree with the Porsche deserves to win. And hey I love caddys just as much as the next guy but come on its a Porsche... A freaking Porsche!!!! The caddy isn't even on the same level
PetrolheadjackJan 15, 2012 and only an American would go to mcdonalds and by the time they leave, the shop had no stock left...
Cody FullertonJan 15, 2012 Only a European would complain about a justified and fair ruling that dares speak ill of a tarted up beetle with the roof chopped off.
Rudolf DasslerJan 15, 2012 The problem is the caddy is 35k in the states, here it will rather be 50k+... For that money i'd buy a used 993 instead..
Rudolf DasslerJan 15, 2012 Hahahaha, only americans would choose the caddy over the porsche...
Kevin RehbockJan 15, 2012 I love the Ciel and Sixteen concepts. But moving Cadillac to the super luxury market would be a huge gamble. They are not the world class manufacturer they used to be but they're getting better. If the XTS does well enough to take sales away from BMW and Mercedes, they should consider it.
Patrick SchalkJan 15, 2012 The Ciel puts any Bently or RR to shame IMO. That thing is truly amazing.
Devin BabynJan 15, 2012 If caddy even attempted that they would completely fail. It would also take enough money that caddy could go into limbo
Hank AustinJan 15, 2012 @chloe so true, but I feel like the ciel will end up like the 16 concept and never be made
Kevin RehbockJan 15, 2012 The DTS was a dinosaur with a lot of torque steer. The XTS replacing it shouldn't be driving the front wheels if they want to go against the 7-Series. The lack of a Northstar is also sad.
