I'd change the ending to Kevin's story to this: As it lay dying, the gt500 asked the her, "Why did you do this to me?" She answered, "Hey, you knew I was a woman!"
Kevin Rehbock Jan 19, 2012
Once upon a time, a woman was gathering firewood. She came across a GT500 stuck in the snow. She took it home, cleaned it, and waxed it until it was spotless. One day she spun it out and wrapped it around a tree. As she lay dying she asked, "Why did you do this to me?" The car answered, "Look, bitch, you knew I was a snake."
RAHP Jan 19, 2012
I just can't wait to see how this GT500 does on the track both straight line and twisty.
Patrick Schalk Jan 19, 2012
CarBuzz, why no ZL1 vs Boss 302 LS article? It's out there.
Description: In true track fashion, it sports a pair of Recaro bucket seats and a roll cage along with its carbon fiber one-piece driveshaft. The pictures were shot at the Ice Nine Group HQ in Detroit, as they wer...

There isn't a solid rear Axel in the new car just like the new boss
Tin Nguyen Jan 20, 2012
Agree with Pat. They had IRS in 03-04 cobra.
Devin Babyn Jan 19, 2012
I didn't mean they've never done it in any car I just meant the stang
Jared Palmer Jan 19, 2012
Ford of Europe has been using IRS for 20+ years now. I love Ford but I would still want my Stang with a solid axle.
Devin Babyn Jan 19, 2012
It would be expensive cause they've never done it before so they'd need to completely develop it which takes a lot of money
Matt Piccolo Jan 19, 2012
Ya fordsthe only not to
Shane Heid Jan 19, 2012
Can't be that expensive every other car maker has done it.
Kevin Rehbock Jan 19, 2012
Engineering an independent rear suspension to withstand all that torque would be expensive. The solid axle keeps the tires perpendicular to the road surface during acceleration meaning this will open a can of whoop-ass taking off.
Mikey Jimenez Jan 19, 2012
And still a solid rear axle!
Jayson Lankster Jan 20, 2012
probably gonna get some crap but mustangs are so boring in my opinion. they all look the same just with a different badge and a new engine. every year same thing.
Trevin Howell Jan 20, 2012
@brandon I only you would learn to read.
Rhonda Hearn Wilson Jan 19, 2012
I think the camera angle, rear wing and funky rear fascia make it look that way. It is hard to tell from these pics.
Ryan Filkins Jan 19, 2012
Is it just me or does the rear area, like the trunk look way too long for a Mustang?
Rhonda Hearn Wilson Jan 19, 2012
Between this and the new ZL1 I guess I'm going to need to buy that supercharger I've been looking at so I can keep up! Pretty sweet for a ford.
Alex Newgard Jan 19, 2012
Love the car... But whats with the Sebring decal on the trunk lid?
Oscar Arias Jan 19, 2012
I'd rather wait and get the new redesigned taillights
Chris Penza Jan 19, 2012
I like it, and I'm a camaro guy
Michael Riley Jan 19, 2012
I'd buy it just to be the first to have one.
Pratik Parija Jan 19, 2012
1st glance I thought the side was dented. Lol
Tim Preisinger Jan 19, 2012
Awesome looking car. Hate the wheels though
Matt Piccolo Jan 19, 2012
Theirs something about it I really don't like...and this is the one muscle car i like
Patrick Schalk Jan 19, 2012
I wish they wouldn't have done the gloss black on the wheels. Looks great otherwise.
Dimitry Mikhailovich Malikov Jan 19, 2012
OMG! I love this car so much!
Kenneth Williams Jan 20, 2012
I was about to say its off the ground. Come on now No self respecting.... person would have that much gap on any "sporty" vehicle
Jason Fenech Jan 20, 2012
You can't tell because the pic is so close, but the car is on a hoist there guys. The suspension is unloaded.
Patrick Schalk Jan 20, 2012
For real. That's some 4x4 status right there.
Ada Onwukaike Jan 19, 2012
Cobra will never die
Dylan Bruder Jan 19, 2012
Quite a bit of gap there
Edward S Nurwadi Jan 21, 2012
Such a boring interior. Simply a mockery to be labelled as a national staple car
Kenneth Williams Jan 20, 2012
Maybe that's an EKG machine for heading to 200mph. Lol
Cody Andree Jan 19, 2012
Point is don't bash chevy when your preferred manufacturer is the Same or worse. And likewise
Alex Leu Jan 19, 2012
It is just a base model interior.,it doesn't even have leather seats or a navigation display
Matt Piccolo Jan 19, 2012
@Andrew, the reason i say that is they all have cheap, plastic interiors with poor visibility... And also, on a personal note, I hate muscle car gauges... But that part is just me
Devin Mortenson Jan 19, 2012
This won't be the final interior
Devin Babyn Jan 19, 2012
You guys do know this is the base interior this can be a lot better
Andrew Wilkinson Jan 19, 2012
No muscle car has nice interior? Bull ha
Matt Piccolo Jan 19, 2012
No muscle car in thisworld has a nice interior, and this isn't an exception
Ben Mossing Jan 19, 2012
I don't like that rook cage, it looks like a weak point if the car where to roll
Brad Hickey Jan 19, 2012
And fordboys have the gall to bash camaro and vette interiors.
James Mcmahon Jan 19, 2012
This is a test mule its not going to have a beautiful interior
Steve Waskiewicz Jan 19, 2012
Ugh... Beautiful engine, horrible interior. :(
Tyler Davis Jan 19, 2012
i dont think i would want this one that has been beat on
Mikey Jimenez Jan 20, 2012
I wish they still used ohv!
Tomas Franquelli Jan 20, 2012
How could the inside of a deck lid annoy you? Really? I mean as much as I hate Mustangs, the car is a big deal, and the team working on it deserves some appreciation.
