The 4C will serve as something of a halo car, similar to what the R8 does for
Audi or the Viper does for Chrysler, only smaller, nimbler and more affordable. The marque's bread and butter, however, will be the new Giulia. Sharing components with the
Chrysler 200,
Dodge Dart, Fiat Viaggio (sold in China) and
Alfa Romeo Giulietta, the Nuovo Giulia will fill the void left by the departure of the 159. Chrysler's Pentastar V6 will be offered, but so will that same 1.8-liter turbo four, this time driving around 170 horsepower to the front wheels. Expect a diesel version as well, but the wagon version will likely remain confined to overseas markets.
