If he kept his line threw the turn the Audi would have just passed by, plus there in different class's the Ferrari should have taken the turn wider to allow the higher class to pass by them
@brian... If u think the Audi couldn't have made that turn then u must have never watched the Audi race before, Ferrari shouldn't have changed his line at the last second and it wouldn't have been a Problem, that was the Ferrari's fault all the way
I was there for this one and i was pretty close to it as we were campin quite close, unfortunatly i was facing the wrong way when it happened so pretty much missed it all. Bollocks.
Agreed with Brian. Really crazy crash. One of my favorite that competes in LeMans other then the C6Rs and Italias.
I worked for Audi at this time... Was in the dealership, with this tab playing on all our TVs... An pretty much everyone stopped what they were doing until we saw him get out of the car... Even though we won... Still a letdown for that...
Not the Ferraris fault. That Audi was coming in way to fast to hit the turn at the angle he was approaching. The Ferrari was already turning in and had his line. The Audi should have conceded and attempted to pass next turn not force his way intoapex

Clearly it was that Ferraris fault. He turned in on the HYBRID Toyota Le Mans Prototype and caused it to flip
i remember watching them interview the Ferrari driver after this and he blamed the whole thing on the Toyota driver

Well you know that there are sentences and you put periods at the end of one then capitalize the first letter of the first word of the next sentence so that people can understand what words are grouped together in a sentence also there are commas
