Description: It's not just supercar makers who see the advantage of offering a cheaper car, luxury brands have something to gain from it as well. In the case of Bentley, one could say that the Continental Fly...Add Comments9
Jon WheelOct 19, 2012 So now are they gonna do the BMW 7-series next?
Jeffrey FrankOct 18, 2012 Yes. It's about entry into a brand not a segment.
Manish JaiswalOct 17, 2012 If this is about entry level on the manufacturer basis then really feeling sorry for v8 vantage waiter, I hope they will not feel sorry to see cygnet aka rebadged Toyota iq
Carlos Gallego RodriguezOct 17, 2012 For entry level exotic i'd say a lotus exige/evora, or the ariel atom, who knows, but not this expensive cars
Alex LeuOct 17, 2012 Haha entry level rolls royce..
Colby ChurchOct 18, 2012 Learn how to drive it and you won't be embarrassed. If you want to learn how to drive, firstly, you need to get a REAL car.
Saif AltaeefOct 17, 2012 Ya man I took my landaulet off road and it was embarrassing
Saqar KhudairyOct 17, 2012 Yeah but this is better for off roading
Saif AltaeefOct 17, 2012 Man if you want something unique just get the Maybach 62s landaulet
Dennis ChoongOct 17, 2012 @Johnny- you think the 6.75L V12 of the Phantom is bespoke? It's a bore out 760's V12 without the twin turbo... as special as the Ghost's twin turbo 6.6L V12 is related to The 760. What's unique is the Phantom's aluminum monocoque chassis
Saqar KhudairyOct 17, 2012 It's good daily driver, great first car. But it was worth it upgrading to the Phantom
Kwesi Desmond PrempehOct 17, 2012 I'm glad you don't bare grudges for opinions . It's Kwes sounding like yes and ending sounding ee. We are all car nuts and it's a great forum for us that I am glad I stumbled across.
Shelby CassandraOct 17, 2012 @Kwesi. I would have said that to anyone. I don't hold grudges against people for stupid things. Also, how is your name pronounced? Just curious.
John SerelyOct 17, 2012 In my opinion, I would want a mulsanne if I wanted a big luxury car meant to be driven. If I was going to buy a rolls Royce sedan, I would want it to be chauffeur driven (only sedans).
Tanton StonemanOct 17, 2012 I know someone has already probably said this, but i wouldn't say the Ghost is entry-level. I would rather one of these than a phantom actually...
Kwesi Desmond PrempehOct 17, 2012 @shelby. In a word "No"! How long have you been waiting to contradict me since the last time we exchanged words/word(No). No need to reply.
Zachary MaurerOct 17, 2012 @erich, no cheaper means small in RR case, you know you are carbuzzs a$$hole commenter, right?
Zachary MaurerOct 17, 2012 I have never seen this as the poor mans phantom, more of a more "driver oriented" mini phantom, this is the car in the RR lineup that has 4 doors, and is more focused to the driver actually driving it, not ur personal assistant
Shelby CassandraOct 17, 2012 And I didn't realize that it was explained in the article. Awesome.
Shelby CassandraOct 17, 2012 @Kwesi. This car practically does share the engine out of a 7 series. The difference being that this is stroked up to a 6.6L up from a 6.0L ( not 100% sure on the exact sizes). It also has a couple different internal components as well.
Kwesi Desmond PrempehOct 17, 2012 Moreover, your statement poor mans phantom . I haven't seen a poor man yet owning one. Unless you do?
Kwesi Desmond PrempehOct 17, 2012 @johnny please state facts when it comes opinions on matters of fact. The engine is not the same as in the Seven series. It may share some parts, however that doesn't make it a seven series engine. Tired of hearing the same old drivel.
Author Norman R. ColsonOct 17, 2012 Rolls royce is cheaper than a phantom? Wtf!? How is that possible...?
Ben MossingOct 17, 2012 I remember when these had those terrible circle headlights
Tyler TarboxOct 17, 2012 I've always preferred this to the Phantom
Fawaz AlkraideesOct 17, 2012 You summed my answer up perfectly. I agree
Thibault LeroyOct 17, 2012 @Spencer if you see both of them side by side you will understand why people would rather have a Phantom (if they have the money)
Spencer WarkentinOct 17, 2012 I don't really see much of a reason to buy a Phantom when they make this as well. Something just looks more right with this IMO

Stephen Reed Warren IIOct 18, 2012 Sooo...you're exact feeling is that the similarities of the 760 and the ghost are hardly noticeable? The ghost should be priced higher and should be for the rich. Make it special
Sebastian GreyOct 17, 2012 This page expresses no feelings. What are you talking about.
Description: Yes, there is some sharing in the engine, but most of the internals are different, and even the displacement isn't the same. The engine is a 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12 which produces 563 horsepower...Add Comments1

Kyle McCulloughOct 17, 2012 Why offer a long wheelbase ghost. Isn't that basically a Phantom?
