A sports car (sportscar or sport car) is a small, usually two seat, two door automobile designed for spirited performance and nimble handling.[2] Sports cars may be spartan or luxurious but high maneuverability and minimum weight are requisite.
William Downs Oct 21, 2012
No the idea Of a sports car is to be a balanced machine with great handling not go fast in a straight line, u want fast go buy a muscle car, these were built to be nimble and have amazing handling witch they succeeded in doing
Zach ComptonAss Gathercole Oct 21, 2012
@stephen exactly
Stephen Tyler Learn Oct 21, 2012
The idea behind a sports car is to go fast that's why they are called sports cars
Zach ComptonAss Gathercole Oct 21, 2012
@pablo going fast was the purpose lol why else would they build this and have you seen the comercial for the FRS which is the same thing? Clearly its ment to go fast
Cooper Branham Oct 20, 2012
Nathan Curtis Oct 20, 2012
Wow, pointless.
Pablo Herasme Oct 20, 2012
@Colby how is this car a turd, yes its slow, but going fast wasn't its main purpose.
Colby Church Oct 20, 2012
Yes, agreed, add some power to this turd!
Antonio Falsetti Oct 20, 2012
Upgraded nothing under the hood? You dare put an sti badge on this with no added power. Give us a turbo version. A lot of people have done it with outstanding results.
William Downs Oct 21, 2012
Because it is a sports car
Nathan Curtis Oct 20, 2012
Hey Erich, you better not read this article. It mentions the BRZ as a "sports car."
Aaron Crisp Oct 20, 2012
What do you guys think if they added ECS on the STI? Just curious. Also needs a turbocharger.
Miguel Jimenez Oct 20, 2012
This "upgrade" better not be more than 3 grand. All they did was put on new wheels and a plastic body kit.
William Downs Oct 20, 2012
@dan... Subaru has there suspension softer then toyota, differen dampening forces front and back, Subaru is softer Toyota and scion is stiffer, rebound setting are the only difference besides looks
Devin Babyn Oct 20, 2012
That's cause it's the same car with minor differences between the subaru and toyota versions
Noah Gavurin Oct 20, 2012
can someone explain to me the difference between the BRZ, GT-86, and the FR-S? because they all seem like literally the exact same car rebadged, same exterior, same interior, same engine, the only difference i see is the price
Kasey Cook Oct 20, 2012
I hope the make sure the wheels fit better when they actually do this. Those rear wheels sit inside the fenders too much. Lower offset please.
Joel Hayes Oct 20, 2012
I was expecting a new wing from Subaru. The Impreza STI had a lovely one.
Zeus Mocha Oct 20, 2012
I like it but it doesn't look much different. If it's going to be an STI it needs more stuff going on. I wish this thing had more power and looked a little bigger and wider.
Pablo Herasme Oct 20, 2012
I like it but expected more
Patrick Schalk Oct 20, 2012
I can't tell the difference.
Vince DeMasi Oct 20, 2012
The best at what? All they did to it was put a simple body kit on it, which does look nice
Nissan GTR Oct 20, 2012
this looks so simple yet good
Matt Piccolo Oct 20, 2012
I agree, I'd like to see if this car can pull then off!
Ben Doolittle Oct 20, 2012
How 'bout some gold rims? Subablue is the only color that works with them.
Description: 17" alloys, upgraded muffler and a coil-over suspension with adjustable front struts aim to further optimize performance, while the interior has been upgraded with some choice touches. For now, t...

Patrick, uh you do know that is has a 2.0 right?
Patrick Schalk Oct 21, 2012
I don't see any reason as to why this doesn't have around 320hp easily. That would be so damn fun
Brady Fereday Oct 21, 2012
I like the sound of my motor over any music just saying
Nate Huegel Oct 21, 2012
Yaaay turbo! Booooo dealer markups!!!
Daniel Eads Oct 21, 2012
Brady, Suit yourself, but I can't live without a radio in my car.
Brad Henson Oct 20, 2012
More like 240-250 hp
Aaron Crisp Oct 20, 2012
Okay here's one for you Matt... Tuned GTR, or stripped out LFA?
Brady Fereday Oct 20, 2012
I don't know if the STI ever did come stripped down but I know you could get evos from the factory bare ass hell and still have the power that you wanted instead of paying for all the stuff you think your car needs
Brady Fereday Oct 20, 2012
And a nav is pointless when we all have smart phones now a days which the gps is more accurate than navs to begin with
Brady Fereday Oct 20, 2012
I hate all the electrically stuff when it brakes it's expensive and a pain to replace and I never listen to my radio and how hard is it to crank a window down and leather seats either burn your ass or freeze your balls Id take cloths seats any day
Matt Piccolo Oct 20, 2012
I wouldn't lol... The only car I would would b an exige
Aaron Crisp Oct 20, 2012
Only car I would get without all that stuff is a first gen Dodge Viper or other classic car haha
Matt Piccolo Oct 20, 2012
@ Brady, who wants a car without door handles, power windows etc... I'd rather pay the extra few grand and get all those!
Chris Watson Oct 20, 2012
274 hp?!?! Watch out base V6 mustang! You almost have some competition! Lolololo
Daniel Eads Oct 20, 2012
Brady, leather and the nav are add-ons. Plus I don't think power windows add much price.
Antonio Falsetti Oct 20, 2012
Nobody's asking for 500 hp from a 2 liter motor. But it can put out a lot more then 200 hp and 150 lb ft torque. That torque number is what's most disappointing.
Puneet Dass Oct 20, 2012
Yusss! Moar power moar better!!! Kinda upset though that this isn't pushing out 500hp from stock. That was a fully sarcastic
Wade Griffith Oct 20, 2012
I would def buy it, if it had 274hp
Antonio Falsetti Oct 20, 2012
For that money I'll buy a wrx sti.
Brady Fereday Oct 20, 2012
And if this car was built for driving experience they could have taken the nav out the leather seats the power windows and all that out and released it for at least 17-20k where in my eyes it should have been priced
Brady Fereday Oct 20, 2012
Nick but with dealer mark ups and all that it was hitting the 30k mark this will be close to 40 I bet after mark ups and for that money I would get a 370z
Pablo Herasme Oct 20, 2012
Okay this is good
Nick Schnee Oct 20, 2012
The stock BRZ / GT-86 / whatsoever wasn't supposed to be powerful, it was mainly created for driving experience and they wanted to keep the costs down so more people can afford it.
Chris Gaines Oct 20, 2012
should have had that Hp stock..
Michael Davidson Oct 20, 2012
Sweet!!! This is what I want to hear.
William Downs Oct 21, 2012
18" rims, drop an inch at max and yes please tiny the eBay looking tail lights, only thing I hate about the car is how the lights look like there off of eBay
Zach ComptonAss Gathercole Oct 21, 2012
Its got smarties for wheels
Nick Sti Oct 20, 2012
Tint, modified tail lights, lowering springs = Sex
Scott Lenahan Oct 20, 2012
Exhaust tips slightly big, rims too small..
Alex Medvedev Oct 20, 2012
Love the exhaust
Dillon Magee Oct 20, 2012
I like the wheels. The black works well with the blue.
Dylan Bruder Oct 20, 2012
The rocker molding looks cheap
Zaire Wilkins Oct 20, 2012
this whole package dosent make me like this car anymore same for toyota and scion
Zeus Mocha Oct 20, 2012
I feel like from the A-pillar to the back (especially the back) it looks great but they messed up with the front.
Matt Piccolo Oct 20, 2012
I think they're perfect!
Gurjit Singh Oct 20, 2012
those exhaust tips look little too big
Forest Carman Oct 24, 2012
seriously. Top mounted intercooler + plus hood scoop = a reason to buy this over the yota or scion variant.
Maaz Khan Oct 21, 2012
I agree! Super boring
Aaron Crisp Oct 20, 2012
If it's an STI it at least needs a FUNCTIONAL hood scoop or something... Hood looks so boring.
Matt Piccolo Oct 21, 2012
@ Zach, that's a pretty dumb reason to choose one car over another
Zach ComptonAss Gathercole Oct 21, 2012
But id rather have a subaru badge than a toyota or scion badge on my car
Noah Gavurin Oct 20, 2012
the exact same car as the scion and the toyota
Aaron Crisp Oct 20, 2012
Fog lamps and LED strip daytime running lights, right?
Andrew Hossann Oct 20, 2012
I don't think it's THAT hard to replace a grill
Joel Hayes Oct 20, 2012
Yeah the GT86/FRS bumper looks much better. The headlights look better too.
Devin Babyn Oct 20, 2012
totally agree Matt, that front bumper makes it look like garbage
Matt Piccolo Oct 20, 2012
After thought***** lol
Matt Piccolo Oct 20, 2012
After though*****
Matt Piccolo Oct 20, 2012
Exactly, the plastic part over the grill looks really cheap and kinda like an afte rtni
Matt Piccolo Oct 20, 2012
That's the only reason I would take the scion over the brz... The grill, It looks like it was an after thought and they just threw it on!
Maaz Khan Oct 21, 2012
So sick, they look like jet cannons! Aha
