I personally dont like it when people try to make a certain car look like a certain other car.. I think its just plain dumb (my opinion) im just a purist that way.. So in this case i dont like what im seeing either

Only to certain people that know what the one-77 looks like will they go "omg this is terrible" but to the average person they will say "that looks pretty cool" so props to this guy.

Driven 2.0t with A upgraded turbo And exhaust, thing had a crazy strong pull with zero lag, waS a lot of fun

Have you guys even driven one of these cars?!? Come back to me when you do. I've driven 2... Both the 2.0T trim, one stock, an one with bolt ons, coilovers, wheels and so on... They are FANTASTIC cars nonetheless. Dont judge until driven. Go Hyundai!

What car did Kia make that they copied from jaguar, and yes go look at the k9 with is a larger version of a car that was around before the new 5 series... And are u talking about the g37, I could see that a little but not the g35
No Kia does copy car companies too and they are partners with Hyundai Kia copied jag awhile back to all Kia and Hyundai do is copy

The new BMW 5 series looks very similar to the Kia k9 witch is a bigger version of the k7 witch was out before the new 5 series, so BMW copied Kia.. Maybe maybe not or just a coincidence they look similar
Rear looks nothing alike and almost ever mid sized front engine rwd coupe has a similar side profile, drive train layout has a major part in a cars design, just cause they look similar dosnt mean they copied them
Look at the rear and side profile of the car and than look at a g35 they look very similar

That the dumbest thing I have ever heard, Hyundai copied the g35 to make the genesis, the genesis looks nothing like a g35 in anyway u need to get your eyes checked for real, nothing Hyundai has made looks like any other car

If your going to customize your car don't try to make it look like another car make it original and don't copy another car especially a car as amazing as the one-77 I have feeling it would be a different story if they tried to copy the zr1 or GTR

If Brady had read the article, he would know that a Vietnamese company made this, and not Hyundai.
But it is to be expected to come from a Hyundai they always copy other company designs like they did with the genesis they tried to make it look like a 350/g35
And no one should copy the one-77 it is its own car and if you can't afford it don't try and make your car look like it it's like the guys who try to make their hatch back civics look like a Bugatti it's dumb and please stop condoning this

Ok so I like the Hyundai genesis but this is just not good. If this thing wasn't trying to be an Aston Martin I'm sure everyone on here would start throwing around the R word(ricer).
Hyundais are not bad vehicles at all. They have come a long way as far as styling, performance, and build quality are concerned. They should ditch the headlights in this and put some black halos in though. Make the car look meaner. It needs that.

Widen the grill and reduce the height a little an fix the horrible and stupid back bumper and throw some rims on it and thing will look loads better, still looks good now would just look better
If it wasn't a Hyundai would you like it then? What yaul fail to realize is that it's not the same car company it started out as. Hyundai are making great cars & make them just as good if not better the the rest of the Japanese car companies.

Am I the only person who noticed this? Look at the bottom of the front bumper. The two side splitters look solid in this picture, as the light is hitting them. Revert back to the other picture and they look hollowed out instead of solid?

I suspect that the reason they dropped the V6 for the new RAV is that it didn't go well against the Highlander/Kluger, which had the same engine. Hopefully Toyota would still work on a turbo four.

Really? cause I've seen alot of genesis coupe and have never seen one on a dealer lot with that badge, just on the sedan, and coupe rolling down the street with other mods
William, it's actually the badge for the v8 option in the sedan and the v6 in the coupe. I actually think it looks more like the Bentley badge more then anything else.

This isn't that bad. If it were fully custom (paint, wheels, tint, suspension, etc.) then it would probably look pretty decent IMO.
The contours at the bottom do not line up well, especially between the back of the door and the rear quarter panel.
It appears that they gave up when they got to the rear (likely after realizing how silly the project was).
Was fine until I saw the back, they did nothing but cut 2 giant holes and put red led strips in them, way to drop the ball
