These suck at rollovers (as to be expected) my friend and his sister were killed in the ford based one, the expedition, but they are extremely comfortable, and yes ugly

Huh, a turboed V8 in a Taurus sounds like a good idea for the SHO, the car would benefit greatly from the power but the weight of the car would mean it wouldn't canibalize mustang sales

I don't think a v8 eco boost would be good for the mustang. The current Eco boost is a great truck/SUV motor, but the next one would have to be fundamentally different to work in a performance car application.
They don't need to when they have the SC GT500. Maybe a special edition or something though.

I don't ever see the Navigator being on the same level as the Escalade. Caddy is too far ahead.

Wow you stop using this app for a month and you miss EVERYTHING. As far as Lincoln itself goes, I would take one over Cadillac (so much nicer IMO) but I do admit the Navi needs some work done on it. Still a very lovely SUV.

In simple terms, it's faster, more fuel efficient, better safety ratings, more stylish, handling dynamics that can range from smooth as can be, to forgetting your in a boat of an SUV... Oh, an it loses 6% of its value after 1 yr... & record sales..
This was right in line with a whole sale value for it... The truth is, there is a reason Lincoln is floundering, and the German brands grew during the recession... A cheap facade is easy to see through and an Insult to the buyers
What is real is True Market Value... The last Navi we appraises was 1 yr old... Had 9k miles on it, and the most a Lincoln dealership would offer for it was $29k when it was a 63,000.00 MSRP...

In reality, Lincoln's are a rebadged Ford on the outside, but on the inside they are completely different. I understand what you are saying though.
Then there are American cars with nice interiors. All I'm saying is that European cars have had a better build quality. Our american automakers have started to fix that in the past couple years, and I'm glad. But lincoln is still very old and bland.

@Michael. Have you ever been inside a Lincoln? I own an 08 Lincoln and it is nicer than most of the German cars that I've been in. My Taurus is nicer than many of the BMW's I have been in.
Alright Adam. 2008 Audi Q7 vs 2008 Lincoln Navi on KBB. Both with 50k miles. Both are 30k recommended retail value. It's difficult to believe car magazines because their views are so biased. They rate whoever gives them more money better.
This interior looks like it's from the 1980's. Everything is way too boxy. The leather feels more like vinyl then that of a Mercedes-Benz GL or Infiniti QX56. Step into either of those and you will be impressed. Step into this and prepare to barf.
Shelby let's be honest here... The lincoln navigator falls significantly short of the demands of today's luxury car buyers. So much so that I feel automakers such as Acura have even surpassed Lincoln on every level. And Acura isn't that luxurious...
That same servicing according to Automobile mag will run a navi owner $1700... Please cite your sources for your rebuttals...
Quick 0-60mph... Google earth navigation... The point being, not only does it have all the goodies... Like most Lincoln's, but its an immensely fun vehicle to drive.. That's what Euro vehicles have over American... Fun to drive and practical
Not too bad considering the 130-140 an hr shop fee for about any dealership... You want efficiency, get a TDI Q7... 20 city, 30 highway with over 400 lb ft of torque... Adaptive cruise control, adaptive suspension... 1200 watt Bang & Olufsen audio...
Hmm... Per Automobile Mag... 2011 Lincoln Navi has an 18% depreciation in the first year... And Audi has 6%... Most people spending 60k regardless what luxury brand it is will be spending more than a normal none luxury brand...
And I hate to break it to you, but Audi parts cost more than practically anything from America.
Compare a similar priced Audi with this. This Lincoln has better resale value. I don't know what you are talking about.
That Q7 on YouTube I mentioned... S-Line Q7... That's a $75-80k vehicle.. So a fully loaded Navi... You show me how the Lincoln will win!
And don't even get me started on resale value... Lincoln equals way drop... Last time I checked the day I pulled My Q5 and my A3 off the lot, they both had equity!
Please go to car and drivers list of best vehicles this year, and for the last 4 or 5 years... Just about every segment has an Audi... It two... Lincoln? Take a guess... Audi has the lowest cost of ownership for actual driving Maintanance...
Compare an equal priced vehicle and the Lincoln will be hands down better.

The A8 is 140k at the top model. The base model is what, 70k? Clearly a vehicle that costs 140k will be nicer than one that is 60k. Use your brain for once in your life. I love Audi's but they are over prices an you cannot deny that.

That's funny... I have to many mechanics friends who work for Ford to accept your word... All woods are not created the same... And being the guy that helped direct how $140,000 Audi A8's were built, I hope I know a good interior and wood combo
By putting larger emblems, by using more shiny materials doesn't make it a better interior... Please review the SUPER cheap looking plastic showing the gear selection for starters... And I do enjoy my wood in my own Audi Q5... As for better built?

No offense, but that appears to be real Plywood... It could be the color, but this really doesn't hold a candle to other Luxury brands... For starters, that shifter looks as hollow as can be, and that smells like corner cutting to me...

I was just test driving the Denali yesterday, and they're pretty similar, except for the badges and a few gizmos
Denali has a little different interior but basically the same concept... Plus they both have a 6.2l v8 witch you can't go wrong
