This has to be the most sensational Mustang ever. I'd venture that Jay Leno is in the process of negotiating to buy it now. Eckert should make more examples, including one, or more, in Dodge Viper Blue. And also in Ferrari Red. Also, if ever there was a Mustang which should be available as a die-cast model, and/or a Hot Wheel, this is it.
Nose of a Mustang, cab to a Challenger, and tail of a GT? Interesting concept. Not totally for it, but nice.

It seems to me from reading the article that this is just a modded gt40 but why would you take a car that has so much racing heritage and turn it into something else now if this thing had a custom built frame and suspension and just the engine was gt
Yep I'll give it a 6/10 looks wise, personally I would have went to a much more fastback style roof and trunk. The GT40 doesnt just doesn't look right. Front is great though.

And maybe muscle vrs should be mid engined rwd. Can actaully put all the horses down to the ground. Good move. Haters going to hate.
This isn't beyond muscle, there's ls7s out there pushing 900+ hp & are still considered muscle
More HPs means more instability, this is what we always faced with Mustangs !
This is like beyond muscle. I bet this thing would tear up the track and the 1/4.
Hope they put that slotted rear window cover that those Mach1 and Boss's had to complete the look.
Not front engined? Interesting. Certainly isn't a muscle car any more.
They may running a few intercoolers, or radiators up front so that may help for the heat... But... Even I don't have much believe that's what it is... At least it's fairly unique...

Another article with miss information. The motor is from a Ford GT, the gt40 was the original ad was called that since it was 40inches tall, the new one that has the 5.4 is like 46 inches...
