Well, the Veyron weights like 2000kg and has AWD... Straight line performance only.
Veyron SS 0-60 is ESTIMATED at 2.2 seconds. The thing is, the F1 would crush the Veyron around a curvy track, since the F1 is so nimble and light. Even the MP4 12C went around the TG track faster than the Veyron SS, by 0:04 seconds, I do believe.

Also, it's TopGear. You can't take everything they do as fact. In a race, a Veyron will monster it. In the top gear race, the F1 beat it off the line and a little bit farther, then the Veyron overtook it

Actually it cost £500,000 when new, and that was roughly $1M at the time. So 700% profit. As if I needed another reason to dream of being an original owner.

The Bugatti sold for an un disclosed price of between $30 and $40 Million. The owner or the seller never said exactly how much it sold for. So officially, The $35 million Ferrari 250 GTO is the most expensive car ever sold.
I think they meant the most expensive sports/supercar. The Bugatti is a luxurious grand tourer of sorts
