As awesome as the
Nissan GT-R is in all respects, it wouldn't be the GT-R if it didn't go racing.
Nissan fields competition versions of the supercar known as Godzilla in the Super GT series and formerly in the FIA GT1 World Championship, but powered by V8 engines instead of the GT-R's twin-turbo V6 and based on custom chassis, those racing cars have about as much to do with the GT-R as its competitors do. No, the real racing GT-R is the GT3 model, and the Japanese automaker's racing division Nismo has been hard at work developing the new 2013 model.
