Josh BanningNov 16, 2012 Sounds like a 5 year old has named it.
William ForghamNov 16, 2012 @Colby Does one of those new technologies make car designer blind? Because this thing looks awful.
Jesse AndersenNov 16, 2012 Looks like a Toyota FJ that got finished. Looks alright, won't get passed tho.
Colby ChurchNov 16, 2012 However I understand that they are trying to foresee how future products might look, it's just that it will be inaccurate no matter how well the engineers perform with future design speculation.
Colby ChurchNov 16, 2012 have that 80's look to them even if they are more futuristic looking. They look nothing like today's cars. The technology doesn't exist to build a "future" product because we don't know what styles and features will be prominent then.
Colby ChurchNov 16, 2012 It can't be accurate considering we are limited to retain technologies and designs today, and much more will be available by 2025, changing every aspect of the automobile. It's kind of like those 80's movies that feature future cars. They still
Anthony GrassoNov 21, 2012 I think it looks great! Remember this a G wagon so they are supposed be rugged
Tem PoraryNov 20, 2012 I'm a progressive guy, but that is absolutely ridiculous and freaking horrible. Looks like a Toyota. The G class works because it's like the B52 bomber. They change little except the drivetrain and interior the form holdsup because it work. I have bought 8 new mercedes cars in 8 years. If this is real it's a terrible harbinger of things to come and I'm seriously leaving the brand.
Tom HethNov 20, 2012 Wow, they're bringing back the Yugo !
Jacob GreenleafNov 19, 2012 I don't think Mercedes will go through with this at all, doesn't fit their styling whatsoever at all and if they do we will lose one of the most gorgeous cars ever produced
Ben SchmidtchenNov 19, 2012 Hahahaha lol wat a heKtiK car!!!
Daniel CarrollNov 18, 2012 Chelsea tractor meets tango and cash
Alex PritsertNov 18, 2012 Looks more Toyota style. Maybe the next Prado?
António Villas-BoasNov 16, 2012 I wonder what those 4 vents on top of the windscreen are... Probably 1 air intake, 1 exhaust, 1 for the in-dash barbecue and 1 speaker to ask people to stop throwing vegetables at your car as you try to convince them this car looks good.
Connor ScanlonNov 16, 2012 Stupid but cool. I'd rather just buy a land rover.
Judah LindvallNov 16, 2012 Definitely would not want to see this in production (same with a lot of concepts) but could be nice after being tamed
Shane PrasadNov 16, 2012 Looks like a uglier toyota sequoia
Eric ResetarNov 16, 2012 Keep the square. It's beautiful the way it is.
Alex SmithNov 16, 2012 Probably the best futuristic concept I've ever seen. Most look like spaceships from Star Wars.
Adenis KalashNikov RuciNov 16, 2012 What would be great is if it still kept the square design. No matter how new it is.
Blaise HarnedNov 16, 2012 Exactly @Colby! Except I don't think it's that ugly, but I agree with everything else
Colby ChurchNov 16, 2012 I'm doubtful that this is any indication or insight on what future cars will actually be like. They are just using wild speculation. In my opinion, this is not feasible future design language and styling, and it's also pretty ugly. Sorry Mercedes...
Guo-Sheng HuangNov 16, 2012 Where are the wings? I thought cars should be flying in 2025. Looks great though.
Taylor GarryNov 16, 2012 Give me the mud grapplers. Keep the rest
Nick SchneeNov 16, 2012 These roof intakes are pretty ugly, but apart from that, it looks MUCH better than most of the other "futuristic" concepts out there!
Mike CarbaughNov 16, 2012 Is that the next mars rover?

Joseph FliederNov 16, 2012 @Church do you have to post a sermon on "speculation" every couple of pages?
Jack HowardNov 16, 2012 No shit this is speculation. Calm down and stop taking this concept so seriously.
Colby ChurchNov 16, 2012 guessing to it. Right now this is just blind speculation. It may be kind of neat to build on speculation, but along with speculation comes incredible innacuarcy in most instances...
Colby ChurchNov 16, 2012 Go ahead and produce this in 2025 Mercedes, and let's see how many you sell when it's released. I'm guessing less than 3000. Future vehicles will look far better than this I'm sure. And that's because it will come naturally and there will be no

I like 2 buy it this mercedes Benz concepts SUV 2025
If thats the best they got for 2025 then they don't deserve to make vehicles.
Did Chris Bangle move to Mercedes???
Sounds like a 5 year old has named it.
