G55 AMG Copper Edition by AKA

California-based tuner AKA Eurosport has revealed a comprehensive aftermarket package for the Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG power-wagon.

From North Hollywood, California, comes this Mercedes-Benz G55 Wagon that AKA Eurosport claims is the only G-Class in the world with a full panoramic roof. The Copper Edition G55 has been comprehensively upgraded. Beyond the sunroof, exterior mods include an AKA second-generation bodykit, Mansory LED headlights, front bumper with integrated LED fog lights, custom LED taillights, AKA side grilles, carbon-fiber door handles, rear vents and side mirrors, a two-tone carbon-fiber hood, and 23-inch one-piece forged Montana alloys.

An ECU upgrade by Hi Line Motorsport has given the G55 an additional 60 horsepower and 50 lb-ft of torque over its already-prodigious 507hp 5.4-liter supercharged V8 (assuming this model is not based on the earlier 382hp G55 from 1998), while stopping power and handling have been improved by fitting a Brembo brake kit and a new suspension that lowers the wagon by 40mm. A raft of interior enhancements include custom copper carbon-fiber trim, melon leather and alcantara upholstery with double stitching, an Audison sound system, nine-inch touch screen control panel, and a custom rear entertainment system with iPad.
