@Miguel: Trying to find where I said that... Besides, pro's and con's to both sides of the equation. Geesh, v8 fanboy if I've ever seen one. I love v8's and I love smaller disp. boosted cars as well. Heck, even the BRZ small disp. NA is a great car.
Miguel Jimenez Nov 21, 2012
@Michael you say a bigger displacement isn't necessary? Two words power band! Nuff said.
Miguel Jimenez Nov 21, 2012
@Justin I wasn't arguing with you, I just thought I'd mention that you.
Patrick Schalk Nov 20, 2012
AWD on THIS?! HELL no. And I bet with slicks, this would rape that TT Gallardo.
Justin Routh Nov 20, 2012
Oh and i bet it could take the TT UG gallardo ;) or atleast give it a damn good run for its money
Justin Routh Nov 20, 2012
Said its mainly preference. Theres advantages and disadvantages to both, but i think you can tell what i like haha
Justin Routh Nov 20, 2012
Not necessarily. Bigger displacement and more cylinders means it doesnt have to be as high strung of a motor, it will last a wee bit longer. Plus we could get into how a big displacement ohv v8 does have an arguably better power band, but like you
Alex Renaud Nov 20, 2012
I wonder if this thing could lay a strip?
Joe Johnston Nov 20, 2012
Now just give it a nice AWD system and take it to TX2K13 and run the UR Gallardos on I-10..
Maria Garcia Nov 20, 2012
They should take this and the ford granda with the ccx engine that was on here a couple of months ago and take them to the track. Lol
Michael Lepinay Nov 20, 2012
Not a fanboy of any of them (well maybe the Gallardo). Just saying that a big disp. > small disp. Is pretty ignorant. There is no better or worse.
Michael Lepinay Nov 20, 2012
Anyways, I would imagine this Camaro on slicks would run a mid to high 8 sec. 1/4. Recent UR TT Gallardo just ran an 8.3 @ 181. I can promise you this thing won't come close to that. There are also plenty of 1,800+ whp Supra's & GTR's out there.
Robert S Young Nov 20, 2012
Why... Guess its just to say you have. What are those 10in tires? Dam :-/
Michael Lepinay Nov 20, 2012
@Justin & Miguel: Again, being a lover of pretty much all cars, this thing is no doubt beast. But the initial comment was big displ. V8's vs small disp. 4 & 6's. A Gallardo is a small disp. engine (V10 I know).
Darian Vorlick Nov 20, 2012
9.FOUR? Geezus. 1mpg fuel economy!
Justin Routh Nov 20, 2012
Thats freaking insane! But did you mean to say that to me? I was arguing for american V8's not against
Miguel Jimenez Nov 20, 2012
@Justin some guy named Jeff Lutz has a 55 bel air and he's pushing 5,500hp out of a 632 c.i big block chevy and it's a street car.
Justin Routh Nov 20, 2012
And i think this would smoke most tt gallardos. I dont know that ive seen any with this much hp
Justin Routh Nov 20, 2012
But i wanted to ruffle some feathers and it worked apparantly ;)
Justin Routh Nov 20, 2012
@Michael i was half way joking to piss off gtr fanboys and stuff, but how are you gonna throw in the gallardo??? That has a v10 i was making the point that smaller engines couldnt keep up. And i am well educated i usually dont post stuff like that
Tim Preisinger Nov 20, 2012
Brandon, hop in a car like this someday and you will change your mind lol. Also, at first..sure you won't be able to utilize the potential of this car. However that will change as you get used to it
Miguel Jimenez Nov 20, 2012
@Micheal You're the one who sounds uneducated by making assumptions that a Supra or TT Lambo can run this down.
Michael Lepinay Nov 20, 2012
@ Justin Routh: you are really showing off your ignorance with your comment. By all means, this car is dead sexy, and I would love to have it or something like it, but many a Supra or TT Gallardo would run this beast down any day. Educate yourself.
Brandon Bairian Nov 20, 2012
Rather have a 100 hp that I use and abuse every single pony till it begs for mercy than 2000 that i couldn't even tap 10%... But thats just silly me .
Tim Preisinger Nov 20, 2012
Jason and Jose, if you have a good drag racing suspension set up, with a nice pair of slicks, You will be just fine going down the strip. The street might be a bit tougher. However blowing tires off the car or not, this thing will kill my 600 hp nova
Justin Routh Nov 19, 2012
This article is the big F you to all the guys who argued turbo 6's and 4's with us who like big displacement v8s. Lets see your vtec to this!!!!
Jose Miguel Fernandez Nov 19, 2012
2000 HP that's insane but I'm with @Jason you probably can't even use half of the power
Aaron Crisp Nov 19, 2012
Of course they didn't have the 572 when I ordered my crate engine.
Aaron Crisp Nov 19, 2012
Fu*k. I have a 502 in my GMC 2500, I thought that was big.
Jason Bartlett Nov 19, 2012
All that power would be mostly unusable . The tires would have no choice but to fry off even at 100 mph . Rather have 500 hp and hear and feel the engine under load ! In my opinion anyway.
Tim Preisinger Nov 19, 2012
Would love to see this car run my friends Nova. He has 1700hp out of a turbo small block. Would be a great race!
Dillon Magee Nov 19, 2012
The power to weight ratio must be insane!
Adam Ramey Nov 19, 2012
Holy crap
Clay Williams Nov 19, 2012
This is officially the manliest thing ever!
Ross Taylor Nov 19, 2012
Check out some of their stuff on youtube...every car they build is pretty much insane lol
Colby Church Nov 19, 2012
That's why I love V8s <3 ^.^
Ross Taylor Nov 19, 2012
@Phil, yes they did!
Matthew Mazzarelli Nov 19, 2012
9.4L is a 572 big block.
Carlton Sofocusedon Green Nov 19, 2012
vvvvvv LMAO
Michael Riley Nov 19, 2012
Dear Baby Jesus, I wanna go fast. Ricky Bobby
Jay Garcia Nov 19, 2012
You can't really work 2000 hp on the street at full potential so track is a better option ?
Puneet Dass Nov 19, 2012
Engine isn't big enough
Joe Suddueth Jr. Nov 19, 2012
9.4L is roughly 572 cubic inches so I imagine its the 572 crate motor from GM Performance.
Michael Weber Nov 19, 2012
Wtf that's insane!!
Carlton Salmon Nov 19, 2012
Holy f@#$!
Phil Johnson Nov 19, 2012
NRE is just nuts. Didn't they build the motor in the F-Bomb Camaro too?
Aislin Cooper Nov 19, 2012
Oh my god
Nick Schnee Nov 19, 2012
9.4 litres? Are you serious? That thing must run out of fuel before it reaches top speed.
Dylan Bruder Nov 19, 2012
NRE makes amazing stuff anyone who hast heard of them should take a look
Patrick Schalk Nov 19, 2012
Holy balls.
tylergrandstaff Dec 03, 2012
and maybe your powered by crack.
Kyle Kloewer Nov 25, 2012
Maybe it's powered by beer!
Kyle Kloewer Nov 25, 2012
I don't like it because everyone thinks its so fast because they think power is everything. This car wouldn't handle even with the regular engine. It'll go straight that's it. It's got NASCAR fans written all over it
Tanner Middleton Nov 20, 2012
its definately not sleeper. you can probly turn the key and it sounds like 2 fighter jets in your ears.
Miguel Jimenez Nov 20, 2012
@Luis it's called,"because we can" lol.
Luis Daniel Angilello Nov 20, 2012
And I know I'm gonna hear it now!
Luis Daniel Angilello Nov 20, 2012
Now why would someone need 2000HP for anything other than racing? Don't get me wrong, this is a beast and I like it.
Clay Williams Nov 20, 2012
@brandon what are you talking about SLS SLR?
Ben Schmidtchen Nov 20, 2012
Thats heKtiK!!!!!!
Patrick Schalk Nov 20, 2012
Erich, regardless, being a dick to everyone isn't gonna make you any friends (not that you care). But you'll get banned pretty soon so it probably doesn't matter.
Cody Gillard Nov 19, 2012
Looks absolutly breathtaking
Alex Renaud Nov 19, 2012
The size of the boots out back immediately screams crazy horsepower.
Alex Renaud Nov 19, 2012
@Stephen Cobbs: I think there is nothing about this car that suggests that it is a sleeper.
Justin Routh Nov 19, 2012
It's even more sad when you start making up stuff that isnt true to try and bring someone else down. Pat yourself on the back Erich, your mother would be proud. Learn a thing or two before you comment.
Ben 'Jammin Peters Nov 19, 2012
I think it'll need a lot more tire...
Aaron Crisp Nov 19, 2012
Pwn'd
Jordan Smith Nov 19, 2012
Well that escalated quickly.
Patrick Schalk Nov 19, 2012
Hahaha I already graduated from college dumbass. I'm working at one of the largest producers of oil and natural gas in North America. I think I'm doing ok. You can't even spell simple words.
Justin Routh Nov 19, 2012
Its a shame Erich is such an idiot. I dont think ive seen an article where someone isnt telling him that
Patrick Schalk Nov 19, 2012
Erich your level of idiocy is amazing. OBVIOUSLY this thing is not going to be setting Nurburgring times. We all know that. Doesn't matter who built this, it's a monster.
Wyatt Ortega Nov 19, 2012
It doesn't seem right
Roman Podrezov Nov 19, 2012
Wow, really nice
Clay Williams Nov 19, 2012
I'm sure he's just seeking attention.
Kai Andrew Carlson Nov 19, 2012
I would love to see this in action!
Patrick Schalk Nov 19, 2012
No Brandon, he thinks that because he's a dumbass. Don't give him too much credit.
Andrew Hubbard Nov 19, 2012
Agreed with the person below me.
Patrick Schalk Nov 19, 2012
Well hope this douchebag below me gets banned.
Kyle Kloewer Nov 19, 2012
Wow another faggot ass straight driving redneck mobile
Jon White Nov 19, 2012
I'm a mustang guy, but damn I think I'd sell my left nut to have this..
Jordan Smith Nov 19, 2012
Oh my. How can anyone not like this?
Clay Williams Nov 19, 2012
You see this is what a Camaro should be not that plastic thing they sell today.
Craig Lafey Nov 19, 2012
F'in sick!!! Dream Camaro
Edmond Gebara Nov 19, 2012
0 - Laid in 1.7 seconds
Lou Guerrero Nov 19, 2012
I wonder how the modified viper tranny is geared. This must haul ungodly amounts of ass.
Colby Church Nov 19, 2012
You guys think this is crazy? Go find that 1963 Corvette on YouTube with 2200bhp. Street legal and runs a 1/4 mile in 6.9 seconds at 225mph. Ohh yeaah...
Boyd Boudreaux Nov 19, 2012
Duh....
Adam Thomson Nov 19, 2012
Better than the new one
Phillip Chan Nov 19, 2012
DAM that's hot
Stephen Cobbs Nov 19, 2012
About as sleeper as it can get. Love how they kept it clean,
David Justice Nov 19, 2012
Wow! So freaking beautiful!
Mohammed Shafe'e Johar Nov 19, 2012
Sweeeeeeeat !!
Dave Larby Nov 19, 2012
That is pretty schweet!!
Dillon Dixon Nov 19, 2012
This is the ultimate modern day muscle car! It truly is a monster!
Dan J Tresham Nov 19, 2012
That is bad ass. How much does it cost?
Adam Beiersdorfer Nov 19, 2012
This thing needs to be named the Widow Maker. I can see it now, 150 mph in a straight line and that rear sliding right out... R.I.P whoever drives this thing...
Dylan Bruder Nov 19, 2012
Yes it is a complete monster
Patrick Schalk Nov 19, 2012
Hot damn! That's one sexy ass Camaro!
Description: It breathes through a full 304 stainless-steel NRE exhaust with x-pipes, dual fuel injectors per cylinder utilize "Octane on Demand", automatically injecting race gas in the secondary inject...

LOL good luck hearing the stereo over the lope
Lou Guerrero Nov 20, 2012
Imagine the mapping with good ol' east coast 93 fuel.
Bill Estep Jr Nov 20, 2012
Who'd want a stereo I'd be entertained by the sound of that beast
Dylan Knapp Nov 19, 2012
Duel injectors?? That is insane
Colby Church Nov 19, 2012
The 1000w stereo is just so they can say it has one.
Colby Church Nov 19, 2012
Wouldn't be able to hear it well.... Haha
Nicolas Blake Mullen Nov 19, 2012
Why not a 2000 watt sound system to match the engine? :P
Oskar Slanina Nov 20, 2012
Beautyful
Zach Gathercole Nov 19, 2012
Tires would be gone in seconds
Guo-Sheng Huang Nov 19, 2012
Clean!
Darren Nardo Nov 20, 2012
Somebody spent an insane amount of money on this ride. Worth every penny!!!!
Lou Guerrero Nov 20, 2012
The article says drag radials but those don't look like it. Maybe Proxes T1Rs but that's assuming they didn't ruin this entire build by running cheap tires.
Jason Brown Nov 20, 2012
Are the rear tires even street legal?
Patrick Schalk Nov 19, 2012
Probably has some turn downs before the axle
Ben 'Jammin Peters Nov 19, 2012
Never mind.
Ben 'Jammin Peters Nov 19, 2012
No exhaust?
Aaron Cordroch Nov 19, 2012
Dat ass
Taylor Garry Nov 19, 2012
Love how they managed to keep it looking so clean
Redge Diakité Nov 19, 2012
You're sure the tires could handle all the power?
Jorge Gonzalez Nov 19, 2012
Needs wider rears. Lol.
Dylan Bruder Nov 19, 2012
I might like just a little chrome trim on the back for my taste
Alex Renaud Nov 20, 2012
Yup, she's a beaut.
Craig Lafey Nov 19, 2012
Agreed with Daniel. Nice resto mod
Daniel Carroll Nov 19, 2012
When cars were cars
Aaron Cordroch Nov 19, 2012
One of the best side profiles out there. I live these cars lines
Tim Preisinger Nov 20, 2012
Perfection in every way
Trevon Spencer Nov 20, 2012
Mirror image turbos>>>
Luke Fincher Nov 19, 2012
That is so clean!
Dylan Gregori Page Nov 19, 2012
Did anyone else just get a little hard?
Craig Lafey Nov 19, 2012
Oh damn!!! Jaw just dropped
Aaron Cordroch Nov 19, 2012
I'd have a picture of that monster on my nightstand if it was mine
Mark Fei Ling Nov 19, 2012
black mamba!
Boyd Boudreaux Nov 19, 2012
Where's a vid of it running like to hear it at least
Ryan Rainville Nov 19, 2012
I think it looks more like a top view of the alien from the alien movies than an engine that thing looks to b ready to tear off your face
Jorge Gonzalez Nov 19, 2012
Looks like a train engine or something, that shit is huge.
Sam Hansen Nov 21, 2012
Wait really...?
Aaron Crisp Nov 20, 2012
Why is there three pedals and that big stick in the middle? Lol weird sequential shifter. My automatic Prelude VTEC would eat this thing. It has cherry bomb exhaust and custom cold air intake from eBay.
Cody Gillard Nov 20, 2012
As a camaro enthusiast that is definetly taking it back to old school but it looks great
Dylan Knapp Nov 19, 2012
Those seats actually look comfortable
Chris Huff Nov 19, 2012
That's what i thought. I like the 'vette in your profile picture.
Colby Church Nov 19, 2012
@Chris Yes, they are the same type used in a NASCAR race car.
Chris Huff Nov 19, 2012
Those gages look like they're from a nascar.
Maaz Khan Nov 19, 2012
Look at all that high tech technology! O.O
Alex Renaud Nov 20, 2012
I expected to see an 8-track player.
Lou Guerrero Nov 20, 2012
So glad it has three pedals
Kaleb Thorp Nov 19, 2012
Should have went with a touch single din. Would have made for a cleaner look.
Aaron Crisp Nov 19, 2012
They should have put a retro one in. Like looks retro and more stock.
Jörgen Nilsson Nov 19, 2012
Audio probably is one of the priorities of this car. Not the audio from the stereo though...
Justin Routh Nov 19, 2012
Yes mark, audio was the priority in this car
Mark Fei Ling Nov 19, 2012
It's a shame to put that piece of shit CD player in this beauty
Jonny Carter Nov 19, 2012
I was gonna say that!
Carlton Sofocusedon Green Nov 19, 2012
The gauge only goes to 160??? That 3rd gear in this.
Darian Vorlick Nov 20, 2012
I'm an import enthusiast but even I tip my hat at a job well done.
Jason Brown Nov 20, 2012
Love how everything is done so clean. Great work!
Cody Gillard Nov 20, 2012
Looks amazing with the car
