A 4000lb car that will run 14s stock. Slap a pro charger on there, some bolt on's, you have a 11-12 sec streetable sleeper.
The Marauder is the ultimate sleeper. Nothing like a grandpa car with a big V8 haha
32v with DOHC and a little exhaust work, it sounds really good. People I work with think it has a mustang cobra motor in it, it definitely doesn't lol. I get in a street race every now and then and it does pretty great. Wish I got a marauder though

Ford will not come out with a new lightning unless it will beat the SRT10 dodge. That is their benchmark. @Tyler an 05 Lincoln LS V8 sport, With a few bolt on's. stock is close to 300 hp and weighs as much as a mustang. It's kinda a sleeper.
@tyler. The best Chevy/Ford competition was the 454 SS Chevy truck, and the First Gen Lightning. After that, nothing. @matthew, you mean viper V10? Pretty sure there was never a V12.
SRT is supposed to be making the Quiksilver truck that has the 392 in it. MT did a piece on it awhile back. It's a slick truck. I liked the SS but I wish they wouldn't have made some with AWD and they should've made some single cab ones.
Or the SRT-10 Ram. That was the Lightning's main competitor. The Silverado SS was supposed to be competition but that truck was just terrible in every way. Which was disappointing. It should have been much better
If ford brings back the lightning dodge better make a new rumble bee. I saw one last year-a lightened two door ram with a viper v12. It sounded sexy.
You just got beat by a truck! And I've seen one with 20k miles on it and the owner wanted 30k for it. I almost bought a Marauder (grand marquis with Mustang Cobra engine) with 30k miles for 13k. Shoulda bought it.
Lightnings are sleepers to most people, that's why I like them. Ricers are like WTF!?

Lightnings are tough to find used. Especially now. They just keep going up in value. I've seen a few in my area sell for almost $30K. Mine's only got 40K miles which is about as low as I've seen any selling on cars.com or autotrader
That's one car that always turns my head. Every time I see a lightning or a marauder I get a little excited. Before I bought my car I looked hard for a lightning, but couldn't find one with decent mileage close enough to me.
Me too. I love mine. It's an 04 and I thought by now it would look out dated by now but it really doesn't. Even turns some heads surprisingly
They were so expensive because it was barely an F-150. The frame and suspension were totally different. The engine and interior as well. So yeah they were pretty pricey. I like the second gen lightnings a best.
@David. That would be awesome. But yeah I see your point about the price. It would most likely be very expensive. But for its time, the old Lightning was rather expensive too. Compared to the other F-150 options at least
Tyler, there is talk about bringing back the lightning. Most likely be an twin turbo 5.0L. The price is the real issue.
Looks alright, but I still think that Ford needs to bring back the Lightning. Just lighten a base two-door F-150 and give it the 750 horsepower Super Snake engine. I would go buy that the day it released
Roush should stick to Mustangs. The stock Raptor is good enough. And if you want a modded one, get the Hennessy Velociraptor.
The Silvy isn't underpowered Tin. It's fine. I love the Raptor but you guys are retarded sometimes. BTW, the new Ram 1500 kicks everyones ass. 8spd Hemi with Quadralift II system and those interior goodies.
I thought Chevy had plans of building some Raptor competition. Dodge came out with that Ram Runner. It's a dealer option, not a turn-key truck. It costs more, and doesn't come with wheels and tires! You have to buy the wheels and tires.
Chevy has always came in 2nd. The silverado is so underpowered even the tundra is a better choice.

It is $6200 for the phase 1 supercharger kit and $599 for the phase 2 which needs the phase 1 which is the supercharger. Right price bad wording.
If you people knew how to read you would have saw that its a calibration and a pulley
From what i know the raptor is already supercharged and they juss selling a pulley and ecu calibration but Still 599 ???
