With the
BMW M5 and
Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG squarely in its sights, the XFR-S will likely reach 60 in less than 5 seconds and reach a maximum speed of around 186 mph. An 8-speed automatic will likely be the only gearbox offered, so don't go looking for a third pedal. It's clear from the spy shots we've seen of the XFR-S undergoing development at the
Nurburgring that the extra ponies will also come with more aggressive styling, with bigger vents and carbon aero components. For now, Jaguar has just released this teaser image showing the super sedan's front air intake and grille. We'll have the full skinny in just a couple of weeks from LA, so watch this space.
