I think you can only buy the emblems through Ferrari, this may be a way to prove that the car was totaled if someone decides to buy and fix it... You know? So no garage is able to sell the car (once fixed) for the regular asking price

That's Ferrari that did that, a buddy works at a body shop, almost every high end company requires all badges and emblems removed before they total it out and sell it. Don't know why really just what I was told
