My point is for the price there isn't much exclusivity to the exterior. If you get over the badge you will realize you've seen similar body lines. For the price tag I wouldn't want to be mistaken for a EVO X Or any other car with this profile...
The wing is a $3,500 option! Go configure one on jaguar's website and you'll see that it's an option!
It's missing something... Color and front fascia look sick but the spoiler reminds me of a Daytona dodge charger.

Spoiler looks great. Adds the sporty touch they were going for. If classy is wanted, I'm sure the XF supercharged will suffice.
This colour makes it look sporty and aggressive and the spoilers fits it hundred percent but id prefer a classy black jaguar without the spoiler

Agree completely with Erich. Anyone who can afford a car like this or an M5 or CTS-V is going to want the best car. So every little detail matters
None of the commentators could afford a car that will do 60 mph so jag won listen to you plus they are British so they can build cars that are luxurious
But value isn't the same as "time to get the car from zero to 62". Not at all. If you think it is your not even close to being a Jag customer.
It's not just people on the Internet, everyone (with some exceptions for uber rich people) who spends that kind of money on a car probably wants to get the best value for their money

Erich, first of all, what up with William shatner? And second of all, the CTS-V handles just as good as the Panamera Turbo which costs about $50K more
@Erich id guess it would handle just about as good. Id take the cts-v with the magnetic suspension over the panamera any day
I doubt many CTS-Vs will be sold in Europe. Why? Because in Europe, American cars have a poor reputation for build quality, poor materials(LOADS of plastic, fudging performance figures and handling like shit. The M5 shits on that car.Lol no offence:p
But no way I'd get the Porsche, way too much money. Great performance but I don't think I could justify the price.. Plus it is just but ugly compared to all the others.
I think they're all great machines, for the money I'd get a CTS-V, M5 is killer though. I've always had a special place in my heart for British cars. But realistically all I would buy (afford) in the performance sedan market is a Charger SRT8 or G8.
Hey William shatner, the caddy does not "definitely handle better" than a panamera, around a track it's much slower and who wants to ruin their warranty by adding little speed parts I'd rather go faster str8 out of the factory and spend more
@tyler, I'm with you on that one. I'd rather have a big supercharged American V8 under the hood that'll spank fine European machines all day. The CTSV also looks pretty good. And a lot of options are standard. You really get what you pay for.
Panamera Turbo S is super fast but it's extremely ugly and costs about $100K more. Modify a CTS-V a little bit and it will be just as quick if not quicker and definitely handles better
A Panamera Turbo S with options is also more than 200k and while it's quick, this jag and other sedans that cost half as much are nearly as quick and are much better looking!
I agree that cars fast as shit, but skid pad ratings doesn't equate to good handling.. I haven't read anything talking about the panamera being good in the corners, but being a Porsche I wouldn't be really suprised
I'm going to go with the M5 being the performance sedan benchmark, since it has been for years. The Panamera S Turbo just seemed to go past the benchmark? But isn't that the point? Maybe it set a new standard.
Pretty much at 3.5 0-60, almost a 1 g turning car, and 11 sec quarter mile what sedan is faster?
But a panamera turbo s at twice the price is far superior why don't they chose to compete against the bench mark?
In Jaguar's defense for pricing, they always give everything but Cruise Control Standard. The Germans on the other hand always charge a lot in options.

I think he's just going off the basis that the M5 is just the benchmark so it's always good. I've driven the new M5 and this jag will have some serious work ahead of it.

I'm not saying that spoilers are useless in lower performance cars but spoilers of this size are definitely unnecessary. A simple duck tail would service just fine, in my opinion.

So your saying the evo, sti, skyline, 3000gt, supra and many other have minimal performance... how do u know this spoiler is unnecessary, did u go wind tunnel testing with this car, have u ever built a performance car, how do u know if this car needs it or not? It's true that real performance company's use spoilers but that's because the NEED it, unlike compact Japanese sedans with minimal performance. Jag may have some real performance but a spoiler this size is unnecessary and childish.
I'm pretty sure those 3 companies know a lot more about making a car then u ever will considering there making them and your just talking about them, no need to insult other companies cause jag got serious about performance and learned something useful
On a normal jag yes but u seem to forget the fact that this is a sports sedan not a normal jag, and there are plenty other companies that use spoilers not for looks but for there intended purpose, Porsche and Lamborghini come to mind
Exactly Subaru, Nissan, and Mitsubishi (who have no need for a spoiler). All affordable Japanese company's who make cars for people in the 20s. This is Jaguar a classy expensive company that can't just slap silly spoiler on there cars for no reason.

Jaguar took the rear spoiler directly off a Nissan GTR!! Lol Doesn't look nice at all. A more subtle lip would have been better not this hideous thing..,,
