Let's not forget that the V12 in the F1 comes straight from BMW. In fact it still has it stamped on the engine.

If you're buying the most luxurious automotive experience it should have a V12 just for the harmonic balance if 12 cylinders. In high performance applications, a tuned V12 sounds like a cacophony of angry cherubs. It should always be around.
