Gulf Collection Assembles at Salon Prive

You can't beat the Gulf livery for its iconic color scheme, and nowhere has more of them than the Rofgo Collection.

There are few racing liveries as iconic as Gulf Oil's trademark powder blue and orange. We were recently re-acquainted with just how awesome the Gulf livery is when it was applied to the equally delicious Morgan 3-Wheeler, but the retro trike isn't the only car to have featured the iconic color scheme. Gulf's colors have been seen on everything from Aston Martin's most modern GT racing cars, back through the McLaren F1 GTR and Porsche 917 all the way to the 1965 Ford GT40.

Nowhere in the world have there been more Gulf-liveried racing cars assembled than in the Rofgo Collection. Today the collection encompasses 22 Gulf cars, a selection of which was recently featured at the 2012 Salon Prive in London. The Driving Show was there to catch it all on camera in this artfully-produced video clip.
