Maria GarciaNov 05, 2012 What happened to the videos that was with this article CarBuzz?
Walker CarrollNov 04, 2012 I love it when they revise their car. It just improves ever so slightly.
Stephen WoodDec 13, 2012 Personally, I would take an R8 over this
David JusticeNov 05, 2012 Also, the GTR isn't autonomous. There is a certain skill level needed to put a track time down. The driver does still have to think. You can't just press a button from the sidelines and just watch the car tear up the 'Ring by itself. LOL!
David JusticeNov 05, 2012 @No Pistons I agree with you 110% but like what you said you're coming from the hard core perspective, I'm coming from a very, very casual one. But as long as we both having fun, right?
Daniel EadsNov 05, 2012 Also for the casual driver most races are going to be on the road, in a straight line. In which case it's hard to beat the gtr.
Daniel EadsNov 05, 2012 I'm certainly not going to drive with the traction control on but I have no problem with a smart AWD system. Traction control really makes you feel like your not driving but if you turn that off in the gtr is fine.
Mario CallirgosNov 04, 2012 Ya I am with No Pistons on this one. I want a car that is going to challenge me, and scare the crap out me as well as being really fast. Viper, Z06, GT3RS > GTR
No PistonsNov 04, 2012 The more you improve the more you can get out of the car. It's like playing a video game, sure it's awesome once your at max level but isn't the journey TO that level that makes it more enjoyable?
No PistonsNov 04, 2012 @david
Does that not unease you that it's not really you driving, it wasn't YOU that put that lap time? Not attacking, actually just curious because I know my mindset is a little more hardcore then others lol. But wouldn't you rather have a car that
Patrick SchalkNov 04, 2012 It really does sound like a vacuum cleaner/hair dryer.
Lou GuerreroNov 04, 2012 Walking home from the beach I saw cobra kit car cruise by and I instantly became 10 years old again. I like the R35 and respect its a abilities but it doesn't move me like others. It sound like an industrial vacuum cleaner. I'd love to drive one tho
David JusticeNov 04, 2012 Skill is definitely irreplaceable. But like I said, being a very casual driver with neither time or money to always be on a track to hone the craft, being able to get the performance one reads about doesn't seem bad.
Patrick SchalkNov 04, 2012 Me wants a manual. Gonna get a lot more respect with a manual.
Lou GuerreroNov 04, 2012 Lol I doubt you'll be setting any records but it should make you confident enough to have a good time. And really that's what sports cars are about, having fun. The way it sounds, looks, drives -- it all matters and should make you happy.
No PistonsNov 04, 2012 This is scary to hear, people are actually choosing lack of driving skill and it's OK?!
Zeus MochaNov 04, 2012 Yup everyone has to have a GTR in their garage but for the experience you need a vette or viper. For me one of each for sure, just can't have one without the other.
Daniel EadsNov 04, 2012 I'm with David, any car that allows me to beat anyone on a track is fine with me.
David JusticeNov 04, 2012 I don't have the money or time to always be on a track. If I buy a car and it helps me get times and performance I see in the magazines, I think that's awesome. fyi i do like the Viper and ZR1 as well.
David JusticeNov 04, 2012 @Lou you mean I, a casual/novice driver can take a GTR to a track and put up comparable track times to an expert in a Viper or ZR1? SIGN ME UP! Computers helping me a little bit suppose to be a bad thing?!
Lou GuerreroNov 04, 2012 The Viper amazing. The problem is that only skilled drivers can get the maximum from it. The Vette is the same way but less so. Anyone with any moderate amount of skill should be fast in a GT-R after a few laps. I hope to own a Viper one day.
John SerelyNov 04, 2012 ...look at the GTR, and vise-versa
John SerelyNov 04, 2012 @henz they most certainly do compete. So what if it has two tiny back seats + 2 front seats versus only 2 front seats? They both are very powerful supercars around 100k that put down similar lap times. Most people who consider the viper will also...
Pablo HerasmeNov 04, 2012 Why a car that did so much in 4 years get so much hate.
Henz HerreroNov 04, 2012 Viper- 2 seater high end sports coupe.. GTR- 4 seater high end sports coupe.. Doesnt compare..
No PistonsNov 04, 2012 Lap times at multiple tracks have them trading off
Tyler TarboxNov 04, 2012 The GTRs rival is the ZR1. Seeing as they cost almost the exact same
No PistonsNov 04, 2012 Hahaha I'm sorry but GTR doesnt come close to the viper. Viper ruins the zo6s day (C6) and that's the GTRs real rival. I'm sorry but the new viper is on a whole other level of performance.
David GuerreroNov 04, 2012 Ill take the GTR, bump it to stage 2. Eat vettes for lunch and vipers for dinner!
John SerelyNov 04, 2012 This is cool and everything...but the viper just kicks its a**!!
Shannon SimsNov 04, 2012 I doubt the viper will out do the GTR's success.
Tim PreisingerNov 04, 2012 I'll take the Viper. Hm... Maybe we will have a Viper vs GTR debate rather then a Vette vs GTR debate....
No PistonsNov 04, 2012 Till the viper goes on sale
V V
MissLaura AnneNov 04, 2012 Best car on the market right nkw
Pablo HerasmeNov 04, 2012 Don't worry the 2015 facelift will change a few things, A powerbump to nearly (mabe) 600hp, new front and rear headlights, front and rear bumpers, and rims, but lets wait and see
Matt PiccoloNov 04, 2012 Looks awesome! Love the wheels

Daniel Alexander SoutarNov 05, 2012 But that's interesting. Define supercar?
It's tricky, but put it like this. Anything that goes sub-4 seconds from 0-60 is supercar speed. 195mph+ and that's a supercar. Agree?
What would your definition of a supercar be? Include a Viper? Not me...
Aaron CrispNov 05, 2012 No doubt driving a GTR would be a wicked experience, that acceleration from a stand still is nuts.
Aaron CrispNov 05, 2012 @David You watch too much Top Gear. Drivers car is a different definition to everyone... I prefer 3 peddles and a 6 speed. As well as a master of the track. (Hence Viper & ZR1)
David GrayNov 05, 2012 John Serely, not quite. GTR is world renowned as a brilliant drivers car. Viper is just a plaything for you american fanboys
John SerelyNov 04, 2012 @david if the viper is just a nice body sitting on a V10, then what is the GTR? I guess that would make it an ugly body sitting on a V6
David GrayNov 04, 2012 I could've got more comments on this if I baited you lot a bit more n said that the dodge viper isn't a super car, just a fancy body sitting on a V10
Kwesi Desmond PrempehNov 04, 2012 I'm Definitely not a "Yank"although my son is (mot born in a former confederate state)however as a neutral David what were you thinking( or sorry not thinking)!!!lol.
Edgar JaureguiNov 04, 2012 2.7 secs! The Gt-R only get's better by the year. I love how Nissan updates it nearly every year, just making it a bit better every time :). and LOL at the yanks comment xD
Elias HarbNov 04, 2012 Haha dude, its just how the automotive world works ! Geez
Zachary MaurerNov 04, 2012 Lol in Michigan Yanks are Ohio or above, but anyway, bro ur stupid, automakers make models for 2014 after half or 2013 is done, and they also make them 2014s in 2013 because seeing a car that is labeled 2014 is more appealing than a 2013 on the lot.
Dillon MageeNov 04, 2012 That's fast. I wanna see some reviews.
William DownsNov 04, 2012 Actually David its done all over the world, if a car is released in the second half of the year its counted as the next years model, released in the first half its counted as that years model, has nothing to do with being american it has to do with insurance company's and most of all its done this way becaimuse of how company count revenue during a fiscal year of production, learn your shit before...

Kwesi Desmond PrempehNov 04, 2012 Then you will probably need to pay a premium on the price to improve the luxury. As my father used to say,"Nothing in life comes free if it is it's you that's paying for it"!!!
Carlos Ernesto GarciaNov 04, 2012 Thers nothing wrong with the current one its just not as comfortable as most 100k cars. Especially its competitor the 911
Carlos Ernesto GarciaNov 04, 2012 If they want to sell the car to more people over the age of 45 then they need yo make the interior s little bit more luxurious.
Serge PankratovNov 05, 2012 Im just tired of seeing the same arguments on every GTR article.. Thats all i was sayin
Matthew CrightonNov 05, 2012 Sorry i guess some of your comments were about cars, but seriously...
Matthew CrightonNov 05, 2012 site is meant for.
Getting back on topic, I honestly think that this car doesnt look that great. But I will admit that its preformance specs are pretty impressive. If someone handed me the keys, I would take it. But for 100K, no thanks.
Matthew CrightonNov 05, 2012 Serge, first of all, if this is getting anoying, stop reading. And secondly, everyone has their opinions and this is a site that alows everyone to share them. so stop posting comments that have nothing to do with cars because thats not what this
David HicksNov 04, 2012 Serge relax brah, it's just the Internet.
Serge PankratovNov 04, 2012 Come on ladies! Its time that everyone accepts the fact that the Godzilla was named Godzilla for a reason. Look at the damn facts.. Between the gtr, zr1 and whatever else anyone is arguing about, all tests showed that the better and more powerful car
Colby ChurchNov 04, 2012 @Timothy Race these cars going 35 mph and see what happens. The GTR will get its face shit in.
Matt SuttonNov 04, 2012 While working at new jersey motorsports park, id see them all the time. Took a while for them to grow on me. But im a big fan after watching them play on the track.
Brian JohnstonNov 04, 2012 I'd agree with the three pedal thing for the most part but that would also mean all the new ferraris and lamborghinis would are all puss since they are padel shifters. Don't get me wrong I'd buy the 2006 gallardo just to have the Manuel.
Henz HerreroNov 04, 2012 Youre retarded if you think a car sucks cuz anyone can drive it.. Wow..
John JenkinsNov 04, 2012 no reason to hate on a car for being competent. nobody's making you buy it, not that most of us can.
Paul BrodrechtNov 04, 2012 Lol they are a dime a doesen in Edmonton. They are more common than Shelby mustangs. Probably something to do with the fact that a Shelby requires talent to drive, the gt-r is basically a beginners sport car. Hell, an FR-S is harder to drive
Edgar JaureguiNov 04, 2012 I used to see one on my way to high school in san diego :)
Antonio FalsettiNov 04, 2012 I've seen one in the Bronx New York.
Dillon MageeNov 04, 2012 Yeah, I see them pretty regularly.
Carlos Ernesto GarciaNov 04, 2012 I got a ride in one fown in miami. They are all over the place. Since 2008 ive seen about 50
Melvin CerrilloNov 04, 2012 There are 3 in my neighborhood. And 4 Nsx's and even and R33 (track only though)
Joel HopeNov 04, 2012 I think bill is talking about the interior.
David MunasingheNov 04, 2012 @bill. They being in US since mid 2008. You can pick up a 2008 R35 for around $47000. That's a very good price for what you get.
Tim PreisingerNov 04, 2012 Used to pass one every day going to work
Patrick SchalkNov 04, 2012 In Oklahoma City at Cars and Coffee
Sebastian GreyNov 04, 2012 I absolutely love that each engine is hand built by one person only in a hermetically sealed room. Ultimate precision and very personal.

I love it when they revise their car. It just improves ever so slightly.
