This is what the Regal should have been but as always GM finds a way of giving us less for our $$. They would have flown off the lot and Id be first in line.
Matt Piccolo Nov 07, 2012
The 350z is from back in 03 though
Zaire Wilkins Nov 07, 2012
same 0-60 as a M37 or even the new maxima
Sebastian Soroka Nov 07, 2012
If you put even a single turbo from Turbonetics let's say, into either the Z or G you'd be at at least 400hp and close to 450hp at the flywheel.
Sebastian Soroka Nov 07, 2012
I owned a 03 Z with the 3.5 and that's 287hp the G is 280. Don't know where you got 270 from. And remember those cars are NA where as the Insignia is a turbo V6.
Colby Church Nov 07, 2012
Also, this car is the same as the regal GS, minus the engine. Buick only offers 4 cylinders.
Colby Church Nov 07, 2012
Pretty impressive actually. The 3.5 V6 found in the G35 and 350z only has 270 horsepower and they are sports cars. This is a sedan. Yeah, that's good.
Sam Oglesby Nov 07, 2012
2.8 liter v6 325 hp nothing special
Stephen Cobbs Nov 07, 2012
From a 2 liter V6? Wow welcome to 2012.
Nick Mangini Nov 08, 2012
id take this over the regal gs even tho they are the same car.
William Downs Nov 08, 2012
It a big, heavy fwd full size sedan with a 300hpv6 powering the front wheels, OK in a straight line, pro ally not to fantastic in the turns, but maxima want designed for that, I know the 4dsc but this generation its just some words
Carter Sullivan Nov 07, 2012
What're the Maxima's performance specs? You guys seem to know. I've always wondered
Patrick Schalk Nov 07, 2012
I love the Regal GS but yeah it's way too spendy.
Boyd Boudreaux Nov 07, 2012
Seen the GS at the dealer nice car but was blown away by the $46,880 sticker price
Patrick Schalk Nov 07, 2012
This looks nothing like a Maxima
Nodnarb Ydil Nov 07, 2012
I believe the VXR is all wheel drive. Buick needs to bring this engine into their lineup
Liam Littlegriggzy Griggs Nov 07, 2012
I'm pretty surer the insignia VXR is 4wd
Zaire Wilkins Nov 07, 2012
maxima looks better just wish it was AWD but i love this car also
Dylan Bruder Nov 07, 2012
I'd love one of these
Author Norman R. Colson Nov 07, 2012
Maxima is that you???
Carlton Salmon Nov 07, 2012
Looks good.
Stephen Tyler Learn Nov 07, 2012
Only not kinky haga
Stephen Tyler Learn Nov 07, 2012
The kinky downside to the new Buick regal is the fact that it is front wheel drive
Colby Church Nov 07, 2012
I love these. The Buick Regal GS is really badass for what it is. I went and checked them out at my local Chevy dealer, and I'm impressed. Very nice interior also. The fit and finish looked stunning, and the materials looked anything but cheap.
Description: That's some mighty impressive performance for a sedan that, with a £29,995 sticker price, undercuts the previous VXR by nearly £4k. It also stands as a unique exception in an industry ...

@Stephen lol.
John Jenkins Nov 08, 2012
no such thing as an outgoing Saturn. like everyone said, it's a buick with a vauxhall engine
Darren Nardo Nov 07, 2012
Cool car ! Don't really see how it compares with an M5??? Styling is kinda outgoing Saturn sedan to me. Not terrible but the power still makes up for the looks. To an tough M5 ... REALLY???
Stephen Tyler Learn Nov 07, 2012
@guo you just put m5 and Buick in the same sentence and do did I so it can't be the hard to understand
Guo-Sheng Huang Nov 07, 2012
I don't see how you can put M5 and this "Buick" in the same sentence.
Dylan Bruder Nov 07, 2012
The Carlton was sweet!
David Markham Nov 07, 2012
The sticker price may look attractive, but the running costs in the UK would be insane. If you can afford to run this, you can probably afford the M5 to start off with.
Jason Johnson Nov 07, 2012
Lets try the BMW 335 that has 300 HP. Or the new 635 or 650 grand coupe. The M 5 has almost twice the power and three times the tec.
Carlton Salmon Nov 07, 2012
Agreed.
David Gray Nov 07, 2012
M5 is twice the car this is, can't believe an Insignia is being compared to an M5
David Jefferis Nov 07, 2012
More interesting than the dreary little Vauxhall/Opel Adam, that's for sure.
Description: So if you're looking for something to move your family along at blazing speeds (a trip down the Autobahn, perhaps?) the Insignia VXR SuperSport presents a terrific value. But it's not all ab...

Give the Regal GS AWD, this engine and transmission and I'll consider buying a Buick prior to becoming a senior.
Anders Schrøder Nov 08, 2012
It is really easy to use. You control everything from the stearingwheel and the center consol anyway.
Matt Piccolo Nov 07, 2012
Talk about buttons lol
Guo-Sheng Huang Nov 07, 2012
Looks great!
Matthew Crighton Nov 07, 2012
So many buttons!!!!! It must be good
Carlton Salmon Nov 07, 2012
Praise be - a performance saloon that's still on sale, available with a manual 'box!
Luis Romo Nov 07, 2012
Is it me or does that cluster look like it was taken straight out of an Audi or skoda?
