Lexus Introduces CT 200h Advance

New Advance trim includes premium equipment and Lexus’ new Tahara upholstery.

Lexus has introduced the "high-specification, high value" Advance model to its CT 200h range, slotting in just above the SE grade model. The new CT 200h Advance packs a range of prestige equipment including an integrated sat-nav, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, reversing camera, auto-dimming rear-view mirror with integrated parking monitor and folding door mirrors. An exclusive shade of Celestial Black has been added to the range of metallic paints, while new upholstery has also been introduced on the Advance.

Called "Tahara" (which as best we can tell comes from the Hebrew word for "pure"), it represents an environmentally-friendly, lighter alternative to leather and comes in tan or black. The Advance also introduces Lexus' MoveOn navigation system, operated using an integrated touch pad and connected to "Live" information services, including TomTom Local Search, weather forecast and mobile speed cameras, access to which is free for the first year. Premium features from the CT 200h SE are carried over to the Advance, such as dual-zone climate control, push button start, rear privacy glass, a six-speaker sound system and 17-inch alloys.
