You're all idiots. The Mustang costs less, yes, but that's because the BMW has an interior that wasn't built by toddlers. The M3 is faster in the corners (EVO>MT) and more fun. It doesn't chew fuel and it's everyday useable, unlike the Mustang...
@Devin Canadian, Mexican, Salvadorean, Colombian, Brazilian etc are a considered American by the way. Just like Italian, French, British, etc are all considered European.

I'm American, and its has no effect on my choice of an m3 over the boss. IMO, it's too over the top and prolly not as refined (from reviews I've seen) compared to the m3. i think the m3 is a lot sleeker too, especially the e46 coupe

Amen! The mustang may have a solid rear axle, but it still beats the M3. The boss with its suspension package out-handles the Camaro and challenger! I think even a stock mustang out handles them. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
Surprised no one corrected his dumb ass but the 5.0 is a 32 valve, gets over 30mpg (if you're behaved) and redlines at 7500 in the BOSS. It does have the good'ol solid rear axel though, which may be shit but it's faster then an M3 ;) Go home fan boy

Both companies are awesome BMW still powers the fastest NA car in the world. And both ford and chevy motors power the two fastest cars to 200 period!! I would prefer the M3 as an all rounder but for sheer speed and excitement you can't beat ford

Besides, the Boss was built to beat the M3. That was their benchmark an the surpassed it. It's known as The M3 Killer.
The motor in the Stang has potential for 850+ hp. I don't see too many modded M3's. most people who buy M3's don't tune them. Meanwhile there aren't too many mustang owners who have never seen the engine bay of their car.
All those companies actually make pretty damn slow cars. Dont get me wrong bmw is one of my favorite luxury brands, but thats what it is luxury. They wont beat americans at their own game ;)
Youre obviously dumb if you dont realize how much 2 seconds is especially on a track like laguna seca. And ALL those companies that you mentioned... They dont make performance cars. None of those are pushing 7 or 800 hp

Motor trend has the boss about 2 sec faster around laguna seca. Realistically? That wouldnt be noticible to a driver like you or i. But that extra 85lb/ft and the sound of the 5.0 will be my choice every time

Considering Ford developed the BOSS at Laguna Seca and was bench marking against the M3 but beat it bad enough they needed to find a new benchmark (2.46 seconds faster) I'd say the BOSS is much better
Sorry to keep commenting, but I like to actually support my arguments. Go to Willow Springs lap times, and the M3 beats out the GT, albeit not by much (fastest laps.com)

And THE Boss didn't loose weight with THE back seats off and is heavier anyway THE M3 everytime a magazine(EVO,Sport auto...) putted the M3 on a balance it was 1654kg and the Stang is 1700kg at least ;) so the M3 kicks the Stang's a** :D

I have also seen that the BOSS 302 is faster than the M3. MotorTrend also said the 1LE was faster than the BOSS

Pretty sure it was motor trend. And even if they were lying it had to be pretty close to lie, so still the track ready boss would dust the M3 any day

@david the motortrend review had the 1le outperforming the boss in most tests but they liked the feel of the boss more
I prefer my cars to have dark colors(unless it's white or silver) with a high quality clear coat that makes the lights bounce off the car.

And a couple full of clothes in the trunk. So the car was pretty full. But come next summer, if there is a road trip to take, I have a cruiser to take me there and and participate in any local car shows I see on the side of the road. :) great car!
City driving is around 14. Long trip, like the one I took, 21 MPGs. Once it's in 6th gear, going around 80, it's pretty good on gas. This includes my wife and my sister in-law on the back seat. ;)
same story here. My dad has a 2012 GLI and doesn't "USE" it ever. If I was lucky enough to own something like a 2013 Boss or even an FR-S, I would drive the crap out of it everyday.

David, I was not referring to your post about your dad having one. I did not even read that far down, I just wanted to state my opinion. I get a lot of surprised looks when I tell people I drive this car. I even took the car on a 900 mile road trip, and I was surprised how comfortable it was!
To each their own. If I had a bad ass car I'd drive it everyday. But the Boss is my dads, not mine. My DD is a sleeper and I drive the crap out of it.
If you buy one, do yourself a favor and actually drive one. I bought a 2012 GT500 and drove the leaving crap out of it and enjoyed every single moment of it. Now it is winter parked, or until the next 50ish or 60ish day, and I miss it. Can't wait till spring ;) Cars are made for enjoyment and crazy depreciation, not to be stored and than sold for profit!

I don't know. Hopefully like you said. Ford tried IRS in the SN-95 cobra and it was a failure. Not a complete failure but nonetheless, it added too much weight to the rear and had problems overheating.
Very true but its such a good car i wish they would keep it. Hopefully the new irs is good enough to make up for it
@patrick I agree! My dad owns one. Bought it new in 2011. Now it has maybe like 4000 miles on it (over estimating) he's driven it probably 6 times since he go it. You guys had to see this coming. Ford couldn't continue the Boss with the new Gen Stang
