The GRP-made body is a tad heavier at 57kg and can be completely removed in five minutes. All in, the Sport 1000 has a curb weight of just 400kg and thanks to an aerodynamic body developed in the wind tunnel, can develop almost 1,150kg of downforce. Power comes from a bike engine.
Suzuki,
Honda, Yamaha... take your pick, as long as it's an inline-four, it's good to go. It has a chain-drive transmission, limited slip differential, double wishbone suspension with fully adjustable shocks, and comes with front and rear anti-roll bars. Stopping power is generated by a Tarox brake system with 6-piston calipers all around.
