Wtf?! This thing will go around corners in a manner that will make u shit ur pants!
supra_mkiv Nov 10, 2012
sl black series is my favorite :)
supra_mkiv Nov 10, 2012
The standard sls amg is great engineering so this will be even better
Michael Davidson Nov 10, 2012
Oh it can go around corners, it'll just be side ways with smoke pouring from the rear.
Justin Routh Nov 09, 2012
I dont remember anyone driving an amg black series to work either. These werent meant to be DD's
Robert Young Nov 09, 2012
Lol wtf who cares if it can't go around corners. Dumbest thing i've read.I Don't remember anybody taking hair pin corners on there way to work..
Jordan Smith Nov 09, 2012
Doesn't mean the car isn't awesome.
Jason Reimann Nov 09, 2012
@Nick the car's weight is very biased towards the front, giving it little grip at the rear wheels. When you're always sliding, you go round the corner slower.
Andrew Morales Nov 09, 2012
What makes you say it can't go around a corner? It has a steering wheel..
Nick Benz Nov 09, 2012
Reasons.
Michael Beach Nov 09, 2012
If the regular SLS can't go around a corner and all Black series can't go around corners, why the hell would MB make an SLS Black?!
Sam Sexton Nov 10, 2012
Oh yes. I'll take it in yellow, please
Zeus Mocha Nov 09, 2012
Very nice but I feel like the SL was nicer. A lot more subtle. This is half way there. IMO the C Black looks better. Not that this isn't superb anyway.
Tyler Tarbox Nov 09, 2012
Overall I would say this car is great but most likely not worth the price of admission
Chris Penza Nov 09, 2012
Wow. This is awesome
Kieran Ward Nov 09, 2012
Just wow!!
Elias Harb Nov 09, 2012
Haw-ly shit
Shelby Cassandra Nov 09, 2012
Yes!! Absolutely amazing! This is my favorite new car under the 1mil range and the black series just makes it that much better.
Daniel Eads Nov 09, 2012
Just the right amount of accents without being too busy.
Tyler Tarbox Nov 09, 2012
Prefer it in red but this is a stunning car
Guo-Sheng Huang Nov 09, 2012
When this car first came out, I was expecting it to be smaller, maybe close to the original size, and cheaper. Disappointed as I was, it is still a great car though.
Colby Church Nov 09, 2012
I'm with Patrick, not one of my favorite cars, but this is pretty clean and looks good.
Victor A. Frederick Nov 09, 2012
I would love to drive this car.
Ben Doolittle Nov 09, 2012
The Black Series is finally out & my first thought was 'Mansory?'.
Patrick Schalk Nov 09, 2012
I don't really like this car but this looks nice
John Serely Nov 09, 2012
This looks very, very good. I was kind of hoping that it was going to have an even more aggressive body, but this still looks fantastic
Harrison Armstrong Nov 09, 2012
Can't wait to see video of this bad boy tearing up a track.
Tim Preisinger Nov 09, 2012
Wow... That's nice...
Carlton Sofocusedon Green Nov 09, 2012
Light those tires up
Zachary Maurer Nov 09, 2012
This is a really beautiful car, red would be great
Ethan Amo Nov 09, 2012
Holy crap...thats so beautiful..
Thibault Leroy Nov 09, 2012

Lol, A performance car of this pedigree is gonna be compared to another.yes I agree this Benze looks Bad Ass, but if a 2012 stock Nissan Gtr pulls by the results are Obvious.if am driving a $200Gs car & 50Gs spent on it ,should be no second guesses
Robert Young Nov 09, 2012
& wet panties.
Robert Young Nov 09, 2012
Lol gtr is for kids... Merc reeks of testosterone and $.
Zeus Mocha Nov 09, 2012
Lol at GTR fan boys. But I believe the GTR can go around the ring faster, just saying. I'd have to agree with the panty dropping theory. The GTR was a, "I have to grow on it's looks" when it first came out.
Tyler Tarbox Nov 09, 2012
This car is much much more appealing than a GTR. But yet again somebody had to bring it up. I mean I love the GT-R but to we have to compare it to everything? Come on
Stephen Reed Warren II Nov 09, 2012
Yeah, and when you pull up in a GTR no one really cares but gear heads.... When you pull up in the SLS panties get wet
Jason Reimann Nov 09, 2012
Why cut weight and torque? If you're still gonna limit the speed to 196 mph? Makes me sad.
Zachary Maurer Nov 09, 2012
I really don't back any car company, I just like designs more then others, but I hate gtr fanboys, the worse type. But I really don't get the lower torque except for higher revs, if that
Jordan Smith Nov 09, 2012
Actually, I'm not sure about this, but a GTR may beat it. It doesn't matter though. They don't compete. The SLS is kinda a gran tourer whereas the GTR is straight up performance.
Andrew Morales Nov 09, 2012
And a stock gt r won't be beating this on the ring.. Come back to reality haha
Andrew Morales Nov 09, 2012
Apples to oranges Kevin.. You're comparing a twin charged all wheel drive sprint car to a N/A RWD race car.
Miguel Jimenez Nov 09, 2012
@Kevin don't be that guy that always bring up the Nissan GT-R, we don't need another one (Matt).
Kevin Blockley Nov 09, 2012
Pretty impressive !! But a stock Nissan Gtr would probably beat it in every given scenario , 0-60 , quarter mile and a lap of the Nordschleife. And probably badly . Nissan 0 to 60 2,9 sec !! And costs a third / quarter of the price?
Daniel Eads Nov 09, 2012
Don't the black series usually have insane amounts of torque?
Michael Kozlowski Nov 09, 2012
It's a 6.2 Alex not a 6.3
Miguel Jimenez Nov 09, 2012
@Devin horse power never makes up for the lack of torque lol.
JB Kolod Nov 09, 2012
Yeah that's one hella powerful n/a v8. This thing probably sounds like thunder rolling through your neighborhood.
Dennis Choong Nov 09, 2012
Probably rev quite a bit higher than the regular car
Devin Babyn Nov 09, 2012
Come on it's only 12lb/ft, the 59hp will more then make up for it
Alex Smith Nov 09, 2012
6.3 L
Patrick Schalk Nov 09, 2012
Torque is down? Come on meow
Michael Davidson Nov 09, 2012
Wow, that's a LOT of power if the engine is still naturally aspirated.

Iduno Jason why don't you comment that on a few more pages?
Jason Reimann Nov 09, 2012
Why make it lighter and take away torque if they still limit the top speed to 196 mph? Makes no sense.
Kyle Rawn Nov 09, 2012
@John, but that would be too easy!
John Serely Nov 09, 2012
@walter if you want all the gadgets, then get the normal car...
Kyle Kloewer Nov 09, 2012
I guess it's down to who's faster
Walter Justiniano Nov 09, 2012
I don't get the "stripped down interior" thing. The car will cost more than $200k, most of its owners won't be racing it exclusively on track, so why can't it have electronic gadgets? That's why they never come close to Bentley or Aston...
Cindy Ngo Jan 11, 2013
That's better then the new pathfinder and escape
Cindy Ngo Jan 11, 2013
The Aventator: Very fast. MP4-12C:Fast. Veyron Grand sport:Super fast

Luke Purdy Nov 09, 2012
@carlos I don't think AMG was built for 'beautiful design'....
Luke Purdy Nov 09, 2012
Amazing
Zeus Mocha Nov 09, 2012
Oh fudge I take back what I said about this on the first picture. The rear makes up for it. This looks fudging awesome.
Dillon Magee Nov 09, 2012
Spectacular.
Dillon Dixon Nov 09, 2012
The spoiler majorly improves the strange rear end. It makes the car look so much more proportional.
Johnny Francis Nov 09, 2012
Gorgeous back end
Erik Rudolph Nov 09, 2012
I'm going to bet and say its going to be priced around 250-275k
Tristan Calangi Ü Nov 09, 2012
Lets see if ferrari can beat that with their upcoming light weight version of the 458 :D
Carlos Gallego Rodriguez Nov 09, 2012
TACKY!! This is just tacky, the C Black is ok, but this has gone far away. Looks like the SLs Fab design or any of other shit loke that! I just hate it. The designer of the original 300 SL gullwing must be sick right now
Tin Nguyen Nov 09, 2012
Much better than the stock
Ethan Amo Nov 09, 2012
Nice front, nice back, but probably a nasty price
Rohil Chauhan Nov 09, 2012
This car is gonna be an absolute beast!
Redge Diakité Nov 09, 2012
Just perfect
William Downs Nov 10, 2012
If u drop it anymore your gonna ruin the suspension
Mic Wong Nov 10, 2012
What a wheel gap. Do I need to modify even an AMG BS? :)
Tyler Tarbox Nov 09, 2012
AMG Black cars are not supposed to be pretty or elegant.
Chris Penza Nov 09, 2012
This is so nice. I'll take mine in red
Dillon Dixon Nov 09, 2012
Dear god this is fantastic! I love the yellow, and everything just fits it. The looks now match the insane performance.
Alex Medvedev Nov 09, 2012
Beautiful
Stephen Cobbs Nov 09, 2012
Elegant isn't in AMG's vocabulary.
Walter Robinson Nov 09, 2012
Yea... No. I never liked the style of these things. BA, yes, but pretty or elegant, not in my mind. The racing bits don't help
omarSV Nov 09, 2012
nothing more beautiful than naked carbon fibre
Shelby Cassandra Nov 09, 2012
Agreed.
Thibault Leroy Nov 09, 2012
Love the cf accents all around the car
Aj White Nov 10, 2012
R the canards optional or something?
Austin Bride Nov 09, 2012
Looks kinda like its shipped on in the previous pic. Maybe just forgot to put it on this one.
Elias Harb Nov 09, 2012
Haha yea the winglet disappeared
William Downs Nov 09, 2012
There carbon ceramic brakes... drought u could wear them out in 30min
Alex Medvedev Nov 09, 2012
I would wear those out in 30min
Taylor Garry Nov 09, 2012
I would take it without that little piece
Michael Davidson Nov 09, 2012
Phew, look at the size of those brakes.
Rohil Chauhan Nov 09, 2012
Huh where's that little winglet thing gone? :S
omarSV Nov 09, 2012
gorgeous shaped wing
William Downs Nov 10, 2012
I don't get what u mean by wasted space, I see an amazing engine bay, so clean, non wires sticking out, u just see engine
Chris Gaines Nov 10, 2012
weight distribution man..
Lee Oleinick Nov 09, 2012
Look at all that wasted space ...
Guo-Sheng Huang Nov 09, 2012
Like this view
Alex Medvedev Nov 09, 2012
Haha nice has performance light for shift
TJ Mikle Nov 09, 2012
One day:)
Jason Bartlett Nov 11, 2012
You can tow 5000 lbs with the sport model
Zeus Mocha Nov 09, 2012
It's not much of a shifter, more of a switch lol
Alex Medvedev Nov 09, 2012
Looks complicated haha
