James E CaldwellDec 10, 2012 Porsche dropped out and Audi took over. This was right at the time when the first Porsche SUV was launched. I have always assumed the VW group payed Porsche for lemans winning know how, with profitable SUVs. Porsche vs Audi is like Forman vs Ali. :)
