George W. Bush's F150 Up for Auction

Former US President George W. Bush's F150 will hit the auction in block in an effort to raise money for a program that assists military families.

Former US presidents normally ride around in limousines. Despite being out of office, they remain under heavy secret service protection for the rest of their lives, making everyday solo driving on public roads near impossible. But not all former presidents are normal. Take President George W. Bush for example, renowned for, amongst other things, his great love for his Texas ranch, a sprawling piece of private property that he can drive on to his heart's desire. His vehicle of choice: a 2009 Ford F150 King Ranch SuperCrew.

That truck is now heading to the auction block at the Barrett-Jackson event this January in Phoenix, Arizona where proceeds of the sale will benefit the Fisher House Foundation. Powered by a 5.4-liter V8 with 310 horsepower, it not only has premium leather and a serious plush interior, it can also tow up to 11,200 pounds. The former President and former First Lady have used the truck around their ranch to entertain friends and family along with other guests who've been treated to private tours. Dubya also signed the front airbag panel and the future owner will receive a video showing him driving the truck around the ranch. America, we love you.
