All your information is wrong. The corvette won this whole event. It did not lose to this GTR or any other car there. This car DOES NOT have 2000 hp. It has around 1600 with the six speed and around 1400 with the power glide. This car also has a shot of nitrous. The GTR has around 1500 hp as well.
That GTR was no where close to stock. No matter how u put it, a car with 2000 hp with shitty tires will outrun a 650hp car anyday in a straight line. But wither way, that was a sweet race with 2 of my fav cars :) finally
So the Vette gotta have 600hp more, racing wheels , parachute etc... To barely best a stock looking GT -R? Outstanding Nissan!
And I was also supplying some background info for the race. Ok, so the Corvette lost by .100 of a second. Definitely a driver's race, the Corvette itself is nearly unbeatable in the right circumstances with the right driver. Merry Christmas.
It's not glorifying if Im just telling the truth but thanks anyways. I know what they are capable of and others have no clue, they need to be educated sometimes. And also over 70% of Vette drivers can't get the most out of their cars.

@matt no figures were givien for this race on the gtr were left in the unknown for it the AMS they were talking about in the beginning was just to reference that they can hold big power I thought they meant it was that car at first too
@mike I believe the vette won it had a higher trap speed going through its hard to tell at the angle though odd race
@Colby no matter how much you want to Monday morning quarterback it, the Corvette STILL LOST. Get over it. I don't like the GTR much, but kid, relax on the Corvette trolling.
The Corvette was the fastest car at the competition and the GTR was the closest in performance, thus explaining why they were paired. Close race though, it came down to inches. Both are fantastic cars. I'm impressed that the GTR did that well.
I have some more info on this race: Right before the green flag, the Corvette gave the GTR a slight jump because of the horsepower difference. It was only fair. Watch and you will notice that the GTR accelerates first.
This came down to a driver race. It could've gone either way. But that Corvette is definitely the faster car.

The thing is with all that power an torque you can barely get traction. The corvette was on the high way and barely got on the throttle and smoked the tires in another video The GTR is just unstoppable though, it's power band and traction is the best
Two of my favorites. Wish there were more specs but nice race overall though.
Love this car! Lamobos, ferraris etc might look more beastly but the fact that this can kill all those make it unique. IMO this looks perfect

Wider? I've seen cars with 10.5 inch tires do 200mph in 4 seconds..... They make close to 3000hp. Look them up, 10.5 outlaw. They will embarress ANY gtr.
Yes, maybe a little wider, but they are pretty wide stock. Just not wide enough for 2,000 horses.
For the articles name page you can see the corvette. I think with 2k horse they should put some wider tires on it ;)
